Hello, I have already set up my login, PIN, and three security questions. However, when I try to enter my Social Security number, it redirects me to the login page with a message saying, "This Social Security number is already associated with a user ID." The last time I filed for unemployment was around [redacted], and I can't recall any login details from that time or the email I used back then. Recently, I called [redacted] to update my PIN linked to my Social Security number and switched my payment method from a debit card to my bank account. Unfortunately, I am stuck at this point. Every time I attempt to log in, it lets me in, then prompts me for my social and PIN before looping back to the login screen with the previous message. I have only provided my security questions and answers so far. Any assistance or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you, Shay G. [redacted]

I was furloughed from my job on 3/30/20 due to COVID-19. When I tried to apply online, I couldn't create a username or password. Instead, I received a message to call [redacted] to speak to a representative. I know my social security number is on file, as I have claimed unemployment in the past. However, I cannot recall my previous username or password, or if I had registered with an email address. I have attempted to call for the past four days but have been unable to even be placed on hold. The message indicates I cannot create a new username or password, and I must call to have it reset.

My unemployment benefits expired in January [redacted]. In February [redacted], I began delivering meals as a self-employed individual. When COVID-19 hit, I had to stop working. I have been attempting to reach out to TWC UI for weeks now, but all I get is a busy signal or a message saying the call didn't go through. Due to this, I have not been able to file for unemployment benefits. When I tried to reapply online, I received a message stating it has been more than 3 weeks since my last application and that I need to speak with customer service teleserv. Could you please advise me on any other steps I can take in this situation?

I have already set up my login, PIN, and answered 3 security questions. However, when I try to enter my SSN, it takes me back to the login page saying, "This Social Security number is already associated with a user ID." The last time I filed for unemployment was in [redacted], and I can't recall any login details or email address from that time as it has been changed. Recently, I called [redacted] to update my PIN linked to my SSN and changed my payment method from a debit card to my bank account. Despite these updates, I am unable to progress further. Every time I attempt to log in, it prompts me to enter my SSN and PIN and then loops back to the login page with the same message. I have only provided my security questions and answers and have been trying to reach a resolution by calling multiple times a day for the past 12 days. Unfortunately, I am unable to get through. It seems there is an existing account linked to my SSN, and I'm eager to understand why and resolve this issue.

I am requesting a change in my base period due to illness. From October 30, [redacted], to August 6, [redacted], I underwent six surgical procedures at Johns Hopkins in Maryland. I applied for unemployment on March 30, but received a denial letter. I have been consistently working since September 5, [redacted], until being laid off on March 16. I am 72 years old and need to work part-time to support myself. Due to the current circumstances with COVID-19, the agency I worked for, which assigns me to open houses for builders, has closed down. I also received a welcome email from the Census Bureau, but their activities have been paused as well. I would appreciate it if my base period could be adjusted to receive benefits. Thank you for your assistance. - C.J. [redacted] Settlement Drive, Building 4, Apt. 5, Bastrop, Texas

Greetings, I understand the current backlog of claims and seek assistance in regaining access to my TWC account for benefit claims. As my profession relies on unemployment support during slower periods, I am urgently trying to start the claims process. Despite attempting self-recovery for three weeks and contacting the helpline, I have been unsuccessful. It is crucial that I regain access as financial obligations are pressing. I am certain of my eligibility for these benefits and await a resolution promptly. Thank you, MJC.

My name is Ciera T. I have been approved for Unemployment benefits and opted for payments on the TWC Card. However, I have not received the card in the mail yet. The system shows that two weeks of benefits have already been deposited onto the card I don't have. I rely on this card to pay my Water Bill and need information on how and when I will get the card. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I'm Dennis Jacobs. I need to update my employer information on my unemployment application with the Texas Workforce Commission due to COVID-19. I got a letter stating I didn't have an employer or wages reported for [redacted], so I couldn't receive benefits. The President of the company I work as an independent contract photographer since [redacted] said they were aware of my application but I mistakenly entered the wrong employer name, "Portraits International." The correct name is "Portraits International of the Southwest." Is there a way to update this info online or via customer service chat? I've tried calling since April 7th but haven't been able to reach anyone. Please advise the best way to resolve this quickly so I can receive my unemployment payments. Thank you for your assistance.

I am encountering a login error in my account that indicates: "The social security number you entered is already associated with a user ID." I have followed the provided instructions repeatedly, but the issue persists. This problem has been ongoing for several days and shows no signs of improvement. Initially, I assumed it was isolated to my account, yet it appears to be a widespread issue currently affecting others. I am eager to resolve this obstacle to proceed with applying for my benefits online. I am feeling increasingly frustrated as I am unable to rectify this matter and struggling to reach a live customer service representative for assistance. Your support in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently lost my benefits just before the Coronavirus Stimulus Law was passed by Congress. The congressman's office informed me that I qualify for the $[redacted] weekly extended benefits. However, when I submit my job search forms to the Texas Workforce Commission (TWFC) every two weeks, I only receive a generic rejection letter stating that my benefits have ended. I've been trying to reach out to TWFC by phone but have had no luck as I either get a busy signal or a voicemail stating they can't take my call. As a 70-year-old facing financial difficulties, it's been incredibly frustrating. I've heard that the extended benefits are set to expire soon, and there are concerns about funding running out. I'm hoping for some communication regarding my eligibility for additional benefits. Thank you. -James S. Dallas, TX

Due to the impact of the coronavirus, I am facing challenges as people are hesitant to have outsiders in their homes, affecting my work as a self-employed individual. I typically work around 25 hours a week and need guidance on how to establish proof of my self-employment status. I hadn't planned on filing taxes previously and now find myself uncertain of the steps to take. I am not looking to evade taxes but lack the knowledge of how to navigate this situation. I am in a desperate financial situation, unable to afford rent, and risk homelessness. My unemployment claim was denied due to the absence of documented wages since I work in cash. I am prepared to rectify this by registering my self-employment and fulfilling tax obligations. I am willing to accept any consequences for past actions but seek clarity on becoming compliant and being acknowledged as a employed individual. I would appreciate guidance on the necessary steps to move forward.

The Texas Workforce Commission has informed me that I did not earn enough to qualify for Unemployment Benefits. It appears my wages were incorrectly reported since my coworkers, who earn the same wages, have been receiving their payments. I have not been paid since early March, and despite numerous attempts to contact you, I have not received any assistance. It is impossible for me to survive without any income, and I should have received some payment by now. I realize there is a high volume of claims, but it has been several months of financial struggle. I urgently need help rectifying my claim to ensure I receive the funds I am entitled to. I also request the backdated payments for the past few weeks that I have missed.

I have been attempting to request payment without success for a week now. Every time I try, I receive a message saying "Late Filing." It has been three weeks since my last Payment Request. I recently received a letter stating that I am approved and need to request payment, but I have been unable to reach the TWC Tele-Center at the provided toll-free number [redacted] as it is consistently busy. I am feeling frustrated and stuck in this process, as a single parent relying on this assistance. My name is Courtney Duran.

I received an email from TWC stating they backdated my unemployment claim to March 29, [redacted]. However, when I try to request payment on their website, it says it's too early until 4/28/20. When I log in, I can see the payment information, but it indicates that there is no payment request on file. When I call the payment request number, it says a request was made, but I never initiated one. The general TWC number doesn't offer an option to speak with anyone about this issue. I applied on 4/12/20 and got the eligibility confirmation, but the conflicting information is confusing.

My claim for unemployment benefits began on April 5, [redacted], and I was approved for a weekly benefit amount of $[redacted]. On April 21, [redacted], I submitted my payment request online for direct deposit. However, when I checked on April 22, my account showed $0 deposited. My next payment request date is May 3, [redacted], but TWC is currently reviewing my claim for payment. Despite trying to reach TWC by phone and email, I have not received a response. I am puzzled as to why I have not been paid despite receiving approval for $[redacted] weekly benefits. I am also unsure when I will receive the additional $[redacted] in unemployment benefits.

I encountered issues while trying to request payment on teleserve today. Initially, I entered my SS# and pin without the correct information needed, which led to multiple unsuccessful attempts. I was eventually directed to contact the number [redacted] for further assistance after several failed tries. Upon speaking to a representative, I was advised to wait until after 4 pm to attempt the request again in hopes of a reset. Unfortunately, the problem persisted even after following the instructions provided. I am seeking guidance to resolve this matter. Thank you.

I have a profile with a checkbox inquiring about my availability. When I try to confirm a day, I encounter disconnections or busy signals. As a single father, I have been facing challenges, including a divorce due to my ex-wife's struggles with meth addiction and legal issues. I returned to work on October 31st, following a layoff, but the financial strain persists. I have been diligently calling for job opportunities or unemployment assistance since March 8th, with little success. I am in need of a job in the oil industry or any other field to support my daughter and myself. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
