fgI sent a message to Telstra to say I could not pay my Telstra Account until tomorrow Monday *********as I have serious medical issues and have just had enormous medical expenses to contend with. I am a pensioner and live in Regional NSW in the middle of the Maria State Forest at Crescent Head. Last week I had to attend two specialists in Sydney (more expense) one Brain Spine Surgeon at St Vincents Clinic and the other an Auto Immune Specialist at Royal Prince Alfred. I have already arranged to pay my Telstra Account tomorrow through a direct debit but I cannot do that if I do not have my phone connection. The message I sent you was that I could not meet the deadline of last Friday to pay my bill, I only needed until Monday the **th May to do that but it is obvious that you have cut off my phone service. I did get a letter from my old doctor a few years ago but the Telstra guy who recently came to my home said it was not noted on his device. In the last ** months we have been affected by fire and evacuated to my daughters place in Kempsey and more recently were flooded in when Port Macquarie was under water. This is a lot to cope with for a nearly ** year old woman who has acute medical issues including diabetes, polymyalgia rheumatica and severe arthritis throughout her whole body. I find it difficult to walk and really cannot believe that you would ignore the message I sent and obviously cut my phone off. I need it on today as we are on a ** acre property in the bush and when my son is away working I am on my own with the young woman I care for and am guardian to who has an intellectual disability. I cannot afford not to have the phone on.
