The issue in GetHuman-saldug_'s own words
Our NBN contract was $*** p*mth and it expired in Jan ****, Telstra changed their plan to $** in Feb **** but continued to charge us at $*** right up until Nov ****. We contacted them via **** chat and they were unhelpful and said "Why didn't we know about the change?'. I felt like they were blaming me for not being more on top of my contract. I rang them and after sometime they said they would refund me $**, although I have been overcharged by $*** !! I have changed it to their $** plan now, but I have yet to explain this to my husband.I have tried to get this resolved but have trouble with their overseas call centre, understanding them can be frustrating to say the least.I would like Telstra to do the right thing and credit me with the $*** as this amount is quite large for me. Telstra did not inform me of the price change and said I should have marked their tele market news ? If I have made this mistake of not checking my account then why did they not? I would still be paying $*** only that I spoke to a friend on our outing and she explained she had the same plan but only pays $**, I felt taken advantage of and was embarrassed. Please help me find their Australian contact details as I need to speak to someone who can explain why I am not getting a refund as their call centre was unhelpful.
