I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW TEAC CAROSEL * DISC CHANGER AND WAS SHIPPED TO ME IN EXCELLENT CONDITION BUT I'M HAVING AN AUDIO PROBLEM WITH IT . I HAVE HOOKED THE WIRES AND CABLES AS INSTRUCTED IN THE DIAGRAM AND PLUGGED IN THE POWER SPEAKERS AND POWER CORD FOR THE CHANGER . THE DRAWER OPENS*CLOSES FINE AND THE DISPLAY LIGHTS UP LIKE IT SHOULD . WHEN I TRY TO PLAY CDS,THE CD STARTS SPINNING AND THE DISPLAY SHOWS THAT IT IS RUNNING,BUT I GET NO SOUND . IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE A SEPERATE AMPLIFIER TO HOOK THE CHANGER INTO ? THE MODEL NUMBER IS PD-D****MKll WITH REMOTE . I WANT TO KEEP THIS UNIT SO I'M HOPING THAT YOUR TECH STAFF CAN HELP .
