If you're having issues with a password, try resetting it using your email address (be sure to use the correct spelling). Click "Forgot Password" under the login, then follow the prompt. You should have the option to reset with your phone number.
The issue in GetHuman-riccicar's own words
Get in touch with Tasker support because I had two.clients pending and I knew how I could reach out to.one client indirectly. But there was no way to.let the other one know because I had zero contact with her besides through my phine and the Tasker app I set up on that phone. My phones battery.kicked the bucket. *G phine, *G plan. It doesn't work. To do that. And I was warned, but Boost Mobile... ... I can't get into my task rabbit app. I just bought a new phone last night at Costco. I live in Occidental. I don't want to give too much information this way. Suffice it to say, I can't access the email or phone number I used to access and create the account. I tried to create an account as a consumer but because I'm an existing Tasker, No Go. No way, No How!!!
I lost work. A good, well paying gig Saturday and I comped my Friday client for my time, in good faith because I was delivering the food for her very low key COVID** conscious wedding. With family and friends in their beautiful back yard. What else could I do. I gave her last minute worry that the food wouldn't arrive to serve after the wedding. That's just how I roll. Ugh. Very frustrated. The only way I could communicate with TR was via email their tech support solution. Which means next day only response unless it's an emergency. Frustrating as heck!!!
Get a clue. Treat the Tasker more like the "gold" that we are to them.
I work super hard as a Tasker for TR. My metrics usually run at ***% across the board. They have to for me to get continued work.
Done all that I possibly could to try to rectify the situation on my.end. Big Time!!!
How GetHuman-riccicar fixed the problem
Make Taskrabbit accountable for answering Tech Support Service Line for Taskers. We depend on them, especially while we're on the job. It's ridiculous that they don't answer any more during business hours. We rely on live support when on the job or unable to get a hold of a client while on the job, or to decide whether to leave a task or not. Gut instinct doesn't always work, and our metrics can get dinged for not being on the job until released from TR. They have offshore a lot of their Tasker Support via Chat and their phone number doesn't get picked up much any more during peak times. Part of the TaskRabbit guarantee for Taskers and Clients alike is Safety, Accessibility to Corporate Offices etcetera. Yes, it's a pain in the neck and rear.
