I've had a difficult experience with the person Jude during the assembly of my IKEA furniture. Despite the task clearly stating that the corner PAX wardrobe needed to be assembled second, Jude is refusing to do so. I am frustrated by his lack of skills and confidence to complete the job properly. I believe a professional IKEA assembler should handle this task to ensure it's done correctly. This experience has been bitter for me, especially since I paid a premium amount for the service. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly.

I'm looking for help regarding my Tasker, Nikolas B. He currently has my house key and was given a specific alarm code for the time he left the house. I need to locate where he placed the key. Additionally, Nikolas did not properly assemble one of the Ikea Trysil wardrobe closets I requested, as the sliding doors are not functioning correctly. Although he did a good job with other items, he disabled messaging on TaskRabbit, making it challenging for me to communicate with him.

I hired someone named Mohammad to install two TVs at my place. He charged $[redacted] for the service, but unfortunately, the TV in the bedroom was not mounted properly. I reached out to him via text asking for it to be fixed, but I didn't receive any response. The TV is now uneven, and I even took a video of it as proof. Despite sending another text, I have still not heard back from him. Additionally, there are multiple holes in the wall, and he only used three bolts instead of the required four. At this point, I am seeking a refund as I plan to hire someone else to correct the installation. I prefer not to have Mohammad return to my property.

I had scheduled for someone to assemble IKEA furniture at 1pm today, but they arrived late, after 3pm. Upon arrival, he demanded $[redacted] for the task instead of the agreed-upon $98 Task Rabbit price which he knew beforehand. Despite communicating about the task for a week, he claimed it frequently happens that Task Rabbit underestimates the cost. He suggested someone else might complete it for the original price. This situation is distressing, especially because I returned from the hospital where my baby is in intensive care to have this done. I fear a repeat experience if I schedule again. His late arrival, refusal of service at the agreed price, and possible expectation of more money were shocking. I seek a call and assurance this won't recur as this is completely unacceptable.

I recently signed up for the TaskRabbit app and submitted the registration fee as requested. However, after waiting for the identity verification process to be completed, I received an email stating my identity check did not meet the criteria. I was then asked to answer a series of questions about my past, but despite providing accurate information to the best of my ability, I failed the verification and was locked out of the app. I feel that the process may have been flawed, especially since I have successfully passed similar verifications with other companies. Since I am unable to use the app due to this issue, I would like to request a refund of the registration fee. Could you please advise on how to proceed with this matter?

I recently had a wardrobe assembled from Ikea on Tuesday, September 3rd, [redacted]. The assembler did not complete the job and promised to return on Thursday, September 5th, to finish it. However, I later found out the assembler had been let go and was requesting my account information for a refund. I believe the refund should come from Ikea. I paid £50 for the service, which was not completed, and I request a full refund. The unfitted wardrobe poses a safety risk, especially with children in the house. The situation was worsened by incorrect paperwork, damaged furniture, and improper assembly. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with how the situation was handled and the poor service received.

Today, Thursday the 5th, Roberto C was scheduled to assemble my IKEA Sleeper Sofa at 10:00 a.m. However, there was a mix-up, and Roberto was sent to a different location in Massachusetts. Now my couch at 75 Florence Road Apt 2A in Branford CT [redacted] remains unassembled. I'm disappointed with TaskRabbit as this was my first time using the service. I need urgent assistance to assemble the couch. This experience has been frustrating, and I was hoping for a better outcome. Please address this matter promptly. Thank you, Sharon Ellsworth.

Hello, I'm new to using your service. I needed a quick delivery and chose a driver named Antonio G for a 4pm pick-up in LA. He messaged me saying he could only come at 5pm. I explained I picked him for the 4pm slot, as time was crucial, but he replied after about 30 minutes, mentioning, "I am busy then." I ended up using Uber for a quarter of Antonio's price, and they delivered the package before 3pm. Although this experience was disappointing, I may use your service again. However, paying $50 for a unavailable delivery time was disheartening. Please advise on getting a refund. Thank you and have a good evening. -- J.J. Woronoff

I had scheduled Bryan G to clean my windows and do housework on 10/3 at noon. Due to rain, we rescheduled for 1PM. Bryan then faced bike tire issues, suggesting a 7PM slot which I declined. Attempts to push the appointment to 5PM and later 6PM were rejected. I feel Bryan ultimately canceled the job, not me. The recurring appointments every two weeks were unsolicited, as this was a one-time service request. I request Task Rabbit confirm that I owe nothing and ensure my data does not reflect recurring bookings. Disappointing experience. - T. Assael

I had scheduled TaskRabbit to assemble items from IKEA. The worker assigned canceled an hour before arrival after thinking there was only one item, and upon learning it was four, he said he couldn't come and needed to reschedule. This situation has left us in a difficult position as we are moving today and needed the assistance. I provided him with a list of six items to assemble. I believe this lack of communication and reliability reflects poorly on the business. I plan to inform IKEA of this experience and leave a review on Yelp to share my disappointment.

I recently signed up and paid to become a Tasker, but unfortunately, I made a mistake by adding a non-existent number to my email address during registration. Consequently, I am unable to log in. I used my Visa card to pay the fee, and my social security number is associated with the account. The email listed on the account, [redacted], is incorrect and needs to be removed as it is not a valid email. I can verify the account using my social security number and address. I am eager to start working as a Tasker and would appreciate assistance in rectifying this issue promptly. Thank you.

I made an appointment with a task rabbit to install wire mesh baskets on a pole, providing detailed pictures of the job, including one with a screw through the pole. However, when the Tasker arrived, he said he couldn't drill into the pole, left without completing the job, and still charged me $92.00. I believe the charge should be refunded as no services were provided. The Tasker had all the information needed and did not seek clarification before coming, leading to this issue. Thank you, S. I had Task Assemblers over to put together my Besta Ikea TV stand but unfortunately, they seemed unprepared for the job. Despite charging my Mastercard, they didn't finish assembling the stand properly. The Task Assemblers arrived at 1:30 p.m. last Saturday (May 5, [redacted]) and stayed until midnight, but the TV stand remains unfinished. They made unnecessary holes in the wall and assembled it incorrectly. We even checked with the store and discovered they had forced it together. We now need someone to disassemble it and another expert to assemble it correctly. The initial assembler, Yilmaz B., lacked English skills and even brought his daughter along. We need a specialist experienced with assembling Ikea furniture exclusively. The incomplete job cost us nearly $[redacted], so we expect better service.

I recently had someone assemble my IKEA closet for $[redacted]. Unfortunately, the closet fell yesterday, nearly injuring my husband. Thankfully, no one was in the room when it happened. I am upset because the tasker should have known how to properly mount the closet using the wood studs available. I am in need of someone to reinstall the closet correctly without any additional charges. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service support as I have been unable to reach a representative for assistance.

Hello, I have been attempting to contact your customer service team but have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone by phone. I am reaching out regarding a charge of $[redacted].64 on my Citi card on 9/8/[redacted]. I engaged a Taskrabbit worker named (Isfandiyor M) to assemble my TV entertainment system. He arrived at 8:30 AM on 9/8/[redacted] to begin work. I estimated the job to take no more than 2 to 4 hours. However, his pace was slow, there were missing components, loose screws, and disorganization. By 2:00 PM, he said he had to leave for another appointment without completing the task. This behavior is unacceptable - he did not fulfill the job requirements and claimed to have worked for 6 hours, which is untrue. His unprofessionalism and lack of experience resulted in a wasted day for me.

I booked Tasker Keith W. for furniture assembly on October 10 at 12:00 PM. Keith wanted to come later, but I had to leave by 1:00 PM, so he canceled. TaskRabbit charged me $35.29, and after disputing it, my bank said TaskRabbit declined the refund, citing their cancellation policy. This is unfair as Keith canceled, not me. I trusted TaskRabbit, but this experience is disappointing. Please provide a reasonable explanation and refund promptly. Thank you.

Hello, I had a service scheduled today to hang pictures and a small mirror at my home. Manual B. was the service provider assigned. Although he was described as very experienced, it took him three hours to hang one large picture and three small ones. I felt unsatisfied with the service provided given the time it took and the cost of $51 per hour plus additional charges. Manual B. seemed unprepared, forgetting a ladder and a measuring tool. He mentioned increasing his rates based on good reviews, which I found concerning. I did not feel the quality of work matched the price. Despite Manual B. offering a discount for materials used, I believe a refund is warranted. I expect better service for the amount paid. I would appreciate a call to discuss this matter further. Thank you.

Today, I had a TaskRabbit installer put together 3 Billy bookcases with doors. Unfortunately, after many hours of trying, the two glass panel doors do not align properly in height. The installer suggested getting a new door from Ikea, but I am not convinced that this is the correct solution since all the door heights should be the same. If the doors were installed incorrectly, getting a third door won't fix the issue. This whole situation has been frustrating and time-consuming. I have tried reaching out to both Ikea and TaskRabbit without success in speaking to a live person. I am looking for advice on whether a third party can assess the situation. Thank you.

My elderly mother recently had an Ikea bookshelf with doors installed by a TaskRabbit worker named Barra. Unfortunately, he installed the doors backwards and damaged them in the process. He falsely claimed it was due to an incorrect shipment, but Ikea confirmed the correct product was sent. When attempting to contact him for a repair, he had disabled the chat, making communication impossible. During the installation, a random friend of his repeatedly visited my mother's place, and Barra complained about insufficient time allocated for the job. Despite the doors being incorrectly installed, he requested a tip from my mother, who felt coerced and tipped him and his friend. To make matters worse, he added $7 for parking to the bill, a charge not allowed by TaskRabbit's agreement with Ikea. I have been unsuccessfully trying to reach TaskRabbit's customer service for over a week without any response. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I am seeking a refund for the problematic installation.
