I was recently overcharged by the Tasker, Calub, for hanging a 5ft by 2ft picture. He only worked for less than 45 minutes but billed me for 2 hours, which he completed on a Saturday. I found it suspicious when he mentioned that I would receive the invoice shortly instead of informing me of the actual time spent before leaving like other Taskers have done in the past. This behavior seems fraudulent to me, and I am requesting a prompt refund. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to leave a negative review and pursue further action. Hello, I am a Tasker named Emma Neveu. I have already contacted TaskRabbit via email regarding an issue I had with a client last night. The job took longer than expected and had some missing nails which prevented me from completing it to the client's satisfaction. We both wish to find a resolution. The client intends to dispute the charges, but I also deserve to be compensated for the time and effort I put in. Despite finishing the task late and with blisters, I believe the use of a drill would have expedited the process, but I had informed the client that I did not possess one. Originally estimated to take 3 hours, it ended up taking 5. I joined TaskRabbit to have a flexible schedule, earn a living, and most importantly, make people happy. I pride myself on being respectful and kind, and the events of last night left me disheartened. I am hopeful that we can come to a satisfactory resolution for all parties involved. As a tasker, I recently updated the app to the latest version, only to encounter a blank screen issue rendering the app unusable. Though I reached out for help weeks ago, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response even after follow-ups over several weeks. This problem is hindering my work since I can't update my hours or availability on the tasker app. Despite attempting to contact support today within their working hours, I was unable to reach anyone at the provided phone numbers. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I scheduled IKEA furniture assembly through TaskRabbit for 10/22/18, aiming for completion on 10/23 at 11:00 am. The task was given to Vanessa, who couldn't perform it until the next week, an unacceptable delay. After promising to reassign, no one else has reached out for rescheduling. Disappointed with the poor follow-up, I'm eager for a resolution. My mother, A. Bendelstein, paid for the service and has already emailed TaskRabbit without a response. On Friday, I used your site for the first time. I had booked 2 taskers. 1) Tasker R. didn't show up on Saturday at 12pm. The booking needs to be canceled, but I am unsure how to do it. Please cancel it for me. 2) Tasker L. is booked for the next day, Sunday at 12pm. However, today I received an email as if the task was already completed and payment was due, but the payment did not go through. Your site made two mistakes by attempting to charge for a job that hasn't been done yet and trying to pay the wrong person. Clients should only be charged after confirming that the job is completed to prevent issues like the one I am facing now. I held off transferring funds to my card until the job was done, yet I was charged for an unfinished job and the wrong tasker. Please rectify this issue. I have only one card, and I will have funds available after L. completes the job today. Please ensure my card is unblocked if it was blocked; otherwise, I won't be able to pay L. today. Please confirm all corrections before 12pm so L. can receive payment. Thank you.

I had a job scheduled for Tuesday, October 23rd. Raul and a colleague arrived at 8 am to assemble the bed, but the doors for the bed wardrobe were missing from IKEA's delivery. Raul advised me to contact IKEA for the missing doors and to rebook him to finish the assembly. After reaching out, I rescheduled Raul through TaskRabbit for Saturday, October 27th at 8 am. Unfortunately, he did not show up, leaving the bed unfinished. I have tried to reach out to him to no avail and contacted TaskRabbit on the same day with no response yet. I am currently off work this week and urgently need the job completed. I paid for full assembly but am facing issues with IKEA and Raul. Hello, Yesterday, we enlisted Patrick's services through Task Rabbit. Patrick worked diligently for 11 hours without taking a break for food or drinks. His task was to rake and bag leaves in our back lawn and driveway. Unfortunately, during the process, he mistakenly raked away all our perennial flowers in a flower bed by the back lawn that was separated by a low metal fence. While I understand it wasn't entirely his fault due to his lack of gardening knowledge, the damage caused was significant. As Task Rabbit is insured for accidental damages, I would like to know the procedure to file a claim for the $[redacted] lost. I believe a credit in that amount would be appropriate compensation. I had a concerning experience with a Tasker and felt it necessary to report it. I hired Tracy M. from Houston through Task Rabbit to feel safe while home alone. Tracy arrived with another person and quoted a higher price than expected. They claimed the job would take 8 hours but finished in less than half the time and still charged me the full amount. They even suggested handling the payment outside of the app. Despite being at my house for only 2.75 hours, they falsely recorded 11 hours. This dishonesty is unacceptable, and I believe they should not represent the company. This incident has made me hesitant to use Task Rabbit in the future, although I've had positive experiences with the platform before.

I had a Tasker scheduled to come Sunday night but had to cancel as my furniture was not delivered. We rescheduled for today at 1pm to coincide with the delivery time. The Tasker did not show up, and only messaged me at 12:58pm to say he couldn't make it. When I contacted TaskRabbit, they credited me $20 for the inconvenience. I attempted to reschedule with the Tasker for later in the day, but he was unclear and unreliable in his responses. I decided to cancel and have now rescheduled for this Friday. I would like the $20 credit to be applied to this new task. Thank you.

I am experiencing payment issues with TaskRabbit. The app shows that I have been paid for some hours, but I haven't received the full payment in my bank account, missing over $[redacted]. I have contacted support, and they promised to look into it, but I am concerned about the missing money and why this happened. I recently hired a tasker to hang a wooden shelf, but the job didn't go as planned. The tasker drilled too many holes in the wall, causing one side of the shelf to be visibly damaged. Additionally, they scratched up the wall and left dirt and black marks behind, requiring me to purchase a magic eraser for clean-up. I am disappointed with the result after paying $60 for the service. I live alone and chose not to confront the tasker to avoid any potential conflict. I have used TaskRabbit for various projects in the past, but for the last 4 months, I have been experiencing difficulty in getting Taskers to accept my jobs. Despite providing positive ratings, tipping generously, being punctual, paying for parking, and offering snacks, the last 20 Taskers have either canceled or not responded. I even tried reinstalling the app, but I continue to face issues. Whether it is moving, painting, or requesting top-tier Taskers, no one is accepting my tasks. The app keeps showing an error message without any explanation. I am confused as to why this is happening and would appreciate it if this could be investigated. I just want to understand why the service is suddenly unavailable to me.

I recently hired a tasker to assist me with moving furniture upstairs. Although the task was completed, I was not satisfied with the service. The Tasker arrived on time but appeared uncomfortable, communicated through grunts and heavy breathing, and seemed overly eager for a tip. Additionally, he asked many questions before accepting the task and only did so after I prompted him. While the work was not subpar, I was not impressed overall. I left an average rating on the taskrabbit app, expressing that I would not use this tasker again. After rating him, the Tasker contacted me demanding an explanation for the low rating. I feel uneasy as he is aware of my address with no protection of my identity from taskrabbit. This situation has left me fearful and I urge for better client anonymity protection from the platform. I seek immediate assistance and a call back for resolution. I am distressed as the Tasker knows my address and showed up with another person, increasing my concerns for safety.

I hired John to mount two TVs, and he charged me $[redacted], agreeing his uncle would do electrical work for an additional $[redacted] through task rabbit. After multiple issues, extra costs, and a lack of communication, I had to stop them from working due to incompetence. John then pressured me to pay his uncle for the unfinished job. I had to hire someone else to fix the damages. I want to remove my 5-star rating and comment on John's profile and file a formal complaint. I contacted TaskRabbit to have an extra-large bouquet of helium-filled balloons delivered to a different location. The Tasker accepted the appointment after our live chat where I explained the size of the balloons. However, upon arrival, he realized it was too challenging to transport the large bouquet due to the weather conditions. Despite attempting to find a solution, the Tasker apologized, cancelled the task, and indicated he would incur the cancellation fees. Unfortunately, I was still charged for the task as completed. When I reached out to him, he mentioned canceling and receiving an invoice for the cancellation fee, suggesting I contact TaskRabbit for assistance. I am seeking a refund for the uncompleted task and would like to reuse my "first time" promotional code since the task was not finished. Thank you.

I purchased a wardrobe kit from IKEA on March 6th and arranged for Task Rabbit to assemble it on March 11th between 8am-1pm. I submitted my bank details for payment but have not heard anything back since. I visited IKEA to seek reassurance but even they were unsure about the situation.
