Good morning,**My name is Ann Daroci and I have been a Target customer for over ** years now. Target is always my favorite store to go to and because I shop there so extensively I decided to open a credit card in ****. I always use my Red Card responsibly and have never had a late payment. This February of ****, I decided to open a different account just to use for my bills, and I planned on using this account to pay off my Red Card. I proceeded to put in my “BILLS” account information online, payed off my RED CARD balance, and went on with my day. **A couple weeks later when I go to look at my Target RED Card statement I see that I have a returned payment fee and that my card is closed. I called today to speak with a customer representative because I couldn’t understand why the payment was returned since the money was there in the account and Target had already taken out a $** payment out of that same account. So I didn’t understand why the $** payment could be taken out but the $*** payment was not taken out. The customer care representative told me that this payment was returned because the account I set up was a savings account. She then transferred me to online billing because I didn’t understand how $** came out of that account but the $*** couldn’t come out. I asked her if I could have the return fees reversed and she said she could not help me. She said that I will have * more return fees added onto my Red Card because the two $** previous payments that have already been taken out of my account will be returned.**I continued to speak with the customer representative in online billing, I told her that I don’t think I should be charged three return payment fees, especially since the money already came out of my account for the $** payment and especially because it doesn’t state on your online payment website that you cannot use a savings account. Any of my other credit cards have no issue using a savings account for bill payment online and if you guys are going to charge people $** return fees, you should clearly state that savings accounts are not allowed for bill payment somewhere where your customers can clearly see. **As me and the online billing representative continues our conversation, she proceeded to put me on hold when I asked her questions about why it isn’t stated that savings accounts cannot be used for bill payment and while on hold your customer online billing representative hung up on me.**I don’t usually send emails like this, I use my RED card very extensively, and I enjoy it. I’m a loyal Target customer and have been for years, but this return payment situation because it’s a “savings” account, that is still an ACH account by the way, is not fair at all and I really hope that you guys have the decency to refund me my returned payments.**I can show you statements where it shows Target taking out a payment out of my “BILLS savings” account that I set up, so if it came out of the account initially, why would it get returned? Just so you guys can make more money by charging me return payment fees just because? This is extremely upsetting to me, for someone who is such a huge fan of Target and always makes their payments on time. I really hope that we can get this issue resolved and have my return payments refunded so that I can continue using my card and shopping at Target. I don’t want to have to close my Red Card and report this to the Better Business Bureau but if I don’t get those return fees refunded I will have to do so. I hope that you guys realize who your loyal customers are and know how to treat them fairly, because this is far from being fair and seems like a scam.**Thank you for your time and cooperation, I look forward to hearing back from you.*image*.png**Thank you,**Ann Daroci**** *** ****
