*-**-** at about * pm, Target Store at Westheimer Parkway at ** Katy, Texas I was with my adult son. My son picket up a few items and placed them into my basket at the pillow department. I removed the items and placed them on the shelf, did not dump or mess up the store. Suddenly, from behind a store manager Bryan Bowl started harassing us, demanding that we stop "playing in the store, stop dumping things, and putting things in the wrong place." He was aggressive in his tone, threatening, attempted to intimidate, threatened to call the police and also threatened to throw us out of the store. He stocked us like common criminals. I asked him what was his problem, as I picked up everything, did not make a mess and he again threatened to throw us out of the store and call the police. After this nasty confrontation by Bryan Bowl, we started walking away with my cart, with three items for purchase, when we noticed he was stocking us walking away. I questioned why he was stocking us, he got very close, made some comment "what is this fun for you, I have * kids at home, what do you get from this?" He again was threatening, make us feel in fear, stocked and harassed. I demanded his name and his supervisors name, he commented he was a manager, I asked for his store managers name and phone, Tom Thor. He refused to provide the store supervisor's phone number. But called him, after Mr. Bowl called the store manager, I left my cart, with my items for purchase, walked towards the store and met Tom Thorn, the store manager. I advised that Mr. Bowl needs to move away from us as he was openly harassing us. I explain the situation, Mr. Thorn attempted to explain Mr. Bryan Bowls side of the store that such things make it hard for the employee's, a few things out of place and we have to be harassed, threatened, shocked, and intimidated? Why because Mr. Bowl didn't want to do his job? I advised that his actions were irresponsible, threatening, accusatory, stocking, nasty, and we felt fear. Mr. Thorn advised he would speak with Mr. Bowl, but he did not seem to understanding that Mr. Bowl was intentional intimidating, threatening, harassing, stocking, causing fear and suggesting that we were common criminals. WE am no criminals, have shopped at Target for years, my son was just having a little fun with his mom, no harm or damage was caused, NOT A CRIME committed, other than by your manager Bryan Bowl. Please check your video. I was wearing black boots, black yoga pants, black top and a blue cap. My son was wearing blue jeans, a brown jacket and maybe a cap. My son stayed out of the confrontation as I advised him to. I called and complained to Target *-*** on the same day, with nothing but an apology and MY clear statement that I would NEVER shop at Target again. At the end of the phone call It did seem that Mr. Bryan Bowl's behavior would be ignored, but my complaint would allegedly be sent to "corporate." As a paying customer, having committed no crime other than entering Target, I should have called the police, for harassment, terroristic threat - feeling of fear and stocking. Obviously, Mr. Bowl has some serious anger issues as he brought up his * kids, commenting "what are you getting out of this, I have * kids." Was he insulting us as well? What do I care if he has * kids and a serous anger issue? He was in fact insulting us, I'm sure he was having a bad day, but such bad days cost Target purchases and customers. I intend to I share my nightmarish experience on social media. I think it only fair that Target have the decency to update us regarding any disciplinary actions taking regarding Mr. Bowl's terrible customer service and lack of customer care. I have never been treated in such a manner by anyone. I also suggest that Target look at this store as it's a mess, not because of someone picking up some items and placing them back on a shelf, but because all customers pick up items and put them back in other areas, is that a crime? How did Mr. Bowl assume those were items we just didn't want? Was he profiling the WRONG persons?? Shame on Mr. Bowl and Target as its a complete reflection of the stores as a whole. I believe its fair to ask that Mr. Bowl* Target provide us a formal apology, which can be sent to the below email.
