Dear Target, **I am writing this email to express the inconvenience and frustration I am currently experiencing with Target.**On November **nd I made a purchased (order number: **************) through the Target app. I purchased (*) Ring Video Doorbells $***.** each. The total of my order was $***.** I used a Target gift card of $***.** and the rest of the amount went to my debit card. **The order was a pickup in store order, when I went to the store (November **rd) they told me they only had * item in stock. This was an inconvenience for me since I had to travel far and never received a notification. I had selected that particular Target because that was the only location with * items in stock close enough to home. **While in the store I told the associate I will purchase the * item they had in stock. He told me he needed to cancel my original online order to process the new transaction. What he did not know was that by cancelling my original order the Target gift was not going to receive the $***.** refund instantly. The store manager contacted Target and was told it will take * days for the gift card to reflect the full refund.**I contacted Target Corporation via phone on November **th since I have not received the refund. The Associate was being very unprofessional and rude. She was telling me only $** were being authorize to be release to the gift card. When expressing my frustration and explaining the situation that my gift card was charged $***.** and not $**.** she threaded me in hanging up the phone.**The Associate then looked into the situation and told me $** will be released to the original gift card and that I should receive a new digital gift card via email totaling $***.** by Monday. I am still waiting to receive my Target gift card refund it has now been ** days this is UNACCEPTABLE. Target is a large corporation loyal customers like I should not be going through this experience. Target should compensate me for this inconvenience.
