I am very, very upset right now. I shop in stores at Target every week. I ordered a toy from target.com my daughter wanted but was out of stock in store and my order status said it would arrive in store on ****. I gave my work email address as I can't access my personal email at work, but also signed up for text updates for when I'm not on shift.** The email came in Friday night after we were closed that my item was available for pickup. I NEVER got a text message to say come pick it up. I came into work this morning to an email saying my order has been canceled because I didn't pick it up in time. That is so ridiculous that items have to be picked up within ** hours, how was I supposed to know it would come in early if I don't get a text?! **I called the store and the snotty manager Ally said I have to repurchase it. I told her I paid for it when I ordered it and now have to wait for the money to come back in my account. She said she'll hold it til the end of day but that's it because apparently Target.com is a VENDOR and the store is not responsible for what happens with the online orders. That's complete BS!**I'm so irritated. I have told over ** people in the past hour how AWFUL my experience was with Target and I'm sure that number will reach over *** by the end of the day. I will not be ordering anything from your company again if this is how you treat customers.**I want an immediate refund so I can purchase this toy and be done with Target. I also would like Target.com to inform customers before they purchase that they are a vendor since the snotty managers don't care about what we order off the website. Get your sh*t together Target, it's embarrassing and frustrating.
