I purchased a very expensive set of Bose headphones at Target for my son who uses them for work. I also bought the square-trade warranty for * years. Almost at the * year point, his headphones quit. When I was sold the headphones with warranty, I was told it was a simple matter to bring in the defective product with warranty, receipt and squaretrade registration and the unit would be replaced. I purposely bought from Target instead of Best Buy for this specific warranty.*Fast forward to ***** when my son's headphones quit. I went to Target - they sent me online to squaretrade. I went online and squaretrade said I had to send in the item for repair or replacement. After ** days, * calls and * chats later, they FINALLY got me shipping labels. I am now told it will be another ** days at a minimum before I get headphones returned.*I wasn't sold this "process." I was sold -"come in and exchange". I paid extra because I was sold this process. My son cannot work without headphones. He has borrowed a low quality set from a friend and it isn't working. I did my part - I registered the product with Bose, with squaretrade and I saved all original receipts. Now, it will be a month and this is unacceptable.*I would like to bring into Target the defective headphones and I would like to walk out of Target with a replacement in the next day or two. I have all receipts and if you would like to work with squaretrade, I will gladly turn everything over to you but I don't wish to work with them any longer.
