Very disappointed with the so called “Black Friday” sale and the Graco * in * car seat. I called ahead to the Target location in Lexington, SC to find out they only had one in stock but that a truck was also coming in. I got to the store early and went to the asle to see they were gone. Well it was really just in the wrong spot so another lady found it before I did. I found a store associate and asked about the truck. She said it wasn’t coming in until Friday morning but that I could go to guest services to purchase before it came in. I walked to guest services and spoke to a manager, Jesse, who told me he couldn’t sell me something they didn’t have yet. Totally understand that but he stated I could order it online. When I told him it was out of stock he said I could get an email to notify me when it would be back in stock. When I stated that could be after the sale is over he told me I could get a rain check for it but that I would have to wait in the check out line. I picked up a few toys and waited in the check out line. After finally getting to check out I was told they could not give me a rain check and would not honor what the manager, Jesse, had told me. Another manager came over and told me he would let Jesse know of his error for the future. I’m sorry that’s unacceptable since I know Jesse is a seasoned manager and would have known if that was ok or not. I’ve had dealings with him before and was not impressed then either. I left my family Thanksgiving early to save my family some money only to get the the run around and my time wasted. This has been the straw that broke the camels back. I have been a loyal shopper for Target spending at least $*** a week for the past * years. That is coming to an end. I hope in the future this company thinks about its customers before posting a deal they knew they couldn’t possibly honor. As for this customer I’ll be shopping anywhere but this Target.
