Around **:** p.m. on August **, ****, I called Target's customer service to have charges I couldn't see due to site maintenance explained to me. "Nicolas", a man with a thick, heavy accent I couldn't understand was either unable to understand why I was confused, or I was unable to understand him, proceeded to hang up on me twice when I asked to be redirected to someone else who could help me. After calling a couple more times (one of the times being a time I was hung up on before someone even picked up...), I finally reached an employee named Katrina. I asked to close my account after she was unable to lower an interest rate that I felt was unfair as a loyal target customer with a balance of nearly $**** after I explained to her that I normally paid my payments in a timely manner but had misread my statement this month. She proceeded to close my account immediately, however I have no way of actually checking because the site is still down. I'm extremely offended and disappointed with the way this turned out. I will not be shopping here again once I pay my complete balance.
