Make online purchase. ... I am not sure what happened or what went wrong. I received a gift card recently and was able to use it a few times via target.com. The experience at that time went well. I attempted to place another order, as I am expecting rather soon and wanted to stock up on mommy and baby essentials. I placed the order and didn’t think twice about it. Several days passed and I realized nothing arrived via UPS. I checked my target account only to find that Target canceled my order. I was under the impression that maybe with everything going on they just didn’t have what I initially put in cart for purchase. So, I surfed their website again and noticed one thing from my cart was no longer available. I just decided to reorder everything that I had already, making some adjustments and adding something else. Again, the same issue arose almost immediately. I phoned several departments and waited ** plus minutes to speak with someone, only to have my call terminated. Of course I called back and waited patiently to speak with someone. When I finally made contact with someone, I was told that due to an “irregularity” on my gift card, I would not be able to use my gift card for anymore online purchases. I was appalled and stumped. How can you tell me how or when I can use my rightfully purchased gift card at your establishment?? When pressed about being more specific with regards to this irregularity, the tones of representatives changed, considerably. I was told the issue was already resolved via corporate ( when and how without my input or knowledge) is hard to understand. *I am in no condition to travel the distance to my local Target store and this is why the gift card was purchased with the understanding I could shop comfortably from home without causing or being exposed to any COVID ** risks.*I have yet to have anyone clarify this alleged irregularity. I was told the only way to use my rightfully purchased gift card would be to come in to Target. I am not allowed to do curbside pickup. How is this at all legal? You cannot force me to put myself or unborn child in this position. *I would love to be able to use my card online. I still have a substantial amount of money on it. To be treated this way is truly unfair. You claim there’s a problem but you can’t be more specific and offer a clear explanation. That’s like a doctor telling you you’re sick but can’t say why or with what.
I am unable to go to a Target store.
Allow me to use my gift card via online.
I have spent a great deal of money at this establishment going back almost ** years.
