I received this message from Target: “Hi Laurie,*We’re sorry to inform you that we had to cancel an item from your order **************. There was an issue on our end that prevented us from fulfilling your item.*This is something we are working hard to avoid, but we didn't get it right this time. You have not been charged for the canceled item. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for being our guest.”*Some background:*First the order’s arrival date was delayed. I was willing to wait for it because there was a second order waiting to be picked up. I adjusted the date of this pick up so I wouldn’t have to make two trips. Then I find out there is no product to deliver.*I would have preferred you were upfront about the unavailability of my order from the start so I could have planned accordingly.*I am not sure I will be ordering from the company again as I don’t have confidence you know how to alert customers about issues in a reasonable amount of time.
