Having a severe problem with a return and Target’s handling of it. Original order was placed Oct. *. The item in question was a Joy Lab top. I didn’t receive the item I ordered, I received some ugly Champion top, marked for clearance. I went online and initiated a return*exchange. Sent wrong item back, it’s now the UPS system. Kept checking “my account” on Target to see when I would receive the correct item. The status has not changed from “preparing’ since October *th. After several attempts at contact that went nowhere, I started a chat on the Target website last night. It took over and hour and was a complete waste of time. I was told that the correct item would NOT BE SHIPPED until the wrong item was received by Target. Do you understand *) YOU sent me the wrong item *) I already paid for it *) I gave your rep the tracking number for the return to prove it was on its way back to you, but NO. You will not ship the correct PAID FOR item until you physically receive the wrong item that was sent? Seriously?**The original order from Oct * is ************* . The ‘replacement’ order * is *****************. Email address on the account is *****@***.com
