Hi, So I am delivery driver with UberEats. I was at the restaurant picking up an order for a customer on the app and went to grab the bag and I was going to tell the front counter person the customer's drink. As I went to get the order, the front counter person came over in a very rude manner telling me that they told three times that I needed to wait for someone. He was not professional and said it to me in a raised voice. I was only told once before (just forgot) and usually they had the order ready to go the other times. I explained the situation to the manager and he brushed it off and DID NOT CARE how his employee acted towards me. He used the excuse, "Oh he is new. Don't mind him." THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE to be treated poorly and have his behavior excused. I was upset when I received the drink from him because NO ONE cared to be respectful and considerate in the situation. I am very disappointed that management would allow a co-worker to act like it. I've never had a problem with this location until now. I would appreciate an apology or him to be reprimanded on how to treat customers* delivery drivers. We are an essential part of the puzzle on what keeps your company running strong. This happened at the State Street Location in Madison, WI (*** State Street). It happened Sunday March **, **** in between **PM-**AM. I would appreciate the worker's behavior to be reprimanded thank you.
