My husband and I went to a local Taco Bell restaurant and we went home with our food. Got home and as I was about to take my last bite I felt something as if it was a bone. It hurt my tooth as I took the bite and proceeded to remove the foreign item from my mouth. I took a look at it and it was a Plastic Knot of a size of a quarter that was so hard because it was fried and cooked with the chicken inside my burrito. I returned to the restaurant the same night to speak to a manager about my situation I asked to speak to him at the back of the store and he agreed. I showed him my food with the knot and he apologized and he said he would need my info and to take the food away from me to show his upper management. He went to the office maybe to show the item to the crew and took about ** mins and an unknown lady came out and she was very rude and asked if I wanted my $** dollars back or if I wanted a different burrito. She spoke to me as if it was my fault and as if I was lying about my situation. Of course I was recording the encounter Incase people say I’m Exaggerating. I explained to her that it was not ok for a person to go through this and be treated this way. Nothing was solved because they didn’t know what to do and we’re looking at each other as if I was lying. The manager didn’t take My info as he had said in the beginning. *I went home and in the morning I gave Taco Bell a call and explain to their customer service team what had happened the night before. They said they will handle it and I should receive a call about * days from me calling. Nothing happened after two days and I proceeded to write an email. I got a call from a lady name Alejandra and said that what happened to me was wrong and that she would offer me a ** gift card to call it even. I told her that I have gotten sick before from eating Taco Bell and never complained and I told her that now I understood why and it’s because Taco Bell does not care about their customers health and that I needed to speak to someone above her to address this issue. Nancy Smith gives me a call who is her upper hand and tells me that same things as Alejandra and that she’ll give me ** dollars card for the inconvenience but that’s all she can do I explained to her that I wanted to speak to someone who will address the issue . She gets upset for me asking to speak to someone higher and she hangs up on me I call her back and doesn’t answer and I leave a message and she calls back for what I said in the message of course she wouldn’t want to get in trouble for hanging up on a customer then she tells me if I don’t want to accept her gift card that there is nothing she can do and that if I want to speak to someone to call Customer service again. And she hangs up again. I want Taco Bell to be accountable of this issue that is not the first time foreign items of this kind has been found on customers food and they don’t do anything about it. People can die and this is serious! It’s a big corporation and they need to take this matter very Serious!
