My mom went to buy a sweater with some other items at TJ Maxx Union, NJ yesterday. Today, she realized the sweater was scanned twice. She called the store and was asked to bring the receipt. My mom doesn’t drive, I took her there but I work and will not be able to bring her til next week. She paid with a debit card. Why does she have to bring the receipt? Can’t they just look it up in the computer and issue a refund if she’s able to give all the info from the receipt? It’s such a hassle if it was the store’s mistake.
