I tried to log-in but could not because a verification code is needed, and I can't get the code sent to me because it was sent to my old phone number when I was still living in the US. I now live in the Philippines for over a year now. ... I can't log-in to my account. I have contacted a certain Mona Lisa of the Warren, MI branch where I opened my current account. I have given her my SS number and date of birth for identification purposes. She tried to set up two phone phone numbers where a verification code could be sent to me, but this didn't work. She also tried setting up my email address- *****@***.com - but it didn't appear as one of the options. I tried calling customer service at least two times, but the wait times are just too long..about almost an hour that I had to disconnect each time. I now live in the Philippines, and I just can't afford to wait very long because of high international calling rates. I'm just asking to add my email addrress as a recovery option so I can again access my account. Please help me.**EUGENE KINTANAR
My US phone number that's on file with TCF Bank when I opened the account years ago is no longer valid because I'm now living in the Philippines, and should be updated.
Like I said in my letter, I just asked that my email account be added as a recovery option so I can access my account again.
I've been a customer for at least * years, I guess. I can't tell the exact number of years because I can no longer recall when I opened my checking account with TCF- Warren, MI Branch.
No, I did not. Only customer service can fix this problem.
