To who that may concern, **I am writing to inform you that when purchasing an IPHONE X on **-**-**** at **:** in Athens ohio Store T-MOBILE -***E **** E STATE ST STE ** ATHENS OH, *****-**** SALES REP******** TRANS * **** Phone IMEI*************** members of the sales staff made misleading claims. Security was a major concern for me after my last phone was stolen. When shopping for a new phone at this location I brought up my concern of being able to track a stolen phone. At this point the sales person informed me that T-mobile was able to track a stolen phone even if it had been turned off. I was delighted by this news of enhanced security and this was the main reasoning of making such a large investment in a new Iphone X. Unfortunately, my Iphone X was stolen and while trying to get it tracked as I believed it possible it has come to my attention (from the same store) that T-mobile is unable to track a phone that is turned off contradictory to what the employee stated. I am currently in the process of doing anything I can to try and find my phone. If I had known tracking a phone that had been turned off was not possible I do not believe that I would have made such a large investment. I still have to pay off the phone and I hope you can understand my frustration in the situation. I wanted to inform you of my experience in the hopes that no one else has to go through it. **Thank you,
