On December 20, [redacted], $[redacted].00 was fraudulently transferred from my personal bank account to my PayPal. Someone attempted to purchase a $4,[redacted].00 TV on my Amazon Prime account, and also tried to transfer another $4,[redacted].00 to my PayPal. While my bank declined the larger transfers, the $[redacted].00 went through to PayPal. Amazon promptly removed the unauthorized TV purchase. Following guidance from security, I allowed access to my computer to address potential security issues. Despite this, my funds were still stolen. PayPal is refunding the $[redacted].00 by sending a check within 2 to 3 weeks, leaving me in a difficult financial situation since I rely on Social Security. A supervisor mentioned the bank could assist after 7 days, yet subsequent calls to the provided number ([redacted]) have not resolved the issue as promised. I am frustrated that my money has not been returned directly to my account and am concerned about meeting essential expenses until early January. Can the process be expedited? Thank you, J.D.

I have been trying to submit payments for my Lowe's Advantage card through your bank without success. Despite contacting the phone number provided on my bill, I have been unable to resolve the issue. Every time I try to make a payment, the system prompts me to contact my bank, although there are no issues on my bank's end. I have successfully made payments over the phone using the same bank account without any problems. Your system needs updating to allow payment processing. I will make one final attempt to pay for December [redacted]. If it fails, I will stop trying and cease making payments on this bill. Additionally, most of the charges on this bill are disputed as fraudulent, but no action has been taken by your company despite my efforts.

I have spent 4 hours trying to contact Synchrony and speaking with Amazon. None of the online information has helped me solve the problem. I need to set up my new computer to pay my Amazon Card account through Synchrony online. Unfortunately, I don't have my full Amazon card number, just the last 4 digits ([redacted]), and I am missing my Synchrony account number. Every time I call Synchrony to pay my bill, I face long wait times of 15 minutes or more. This situation is frustrating. Thank you, Merle Whistenant.

I have three accounts with Synchrony Bank for Store Accounts at JCPenny, Care Credit, and USAA. On November 11, [redacted], and December 9, [redacted], my checking account was debited by Synchrony Bank but not credited to any of my accounts, each time $25. Americu claims it's an automatic payment set up by me, which is NOT TRUE. They advised me to contact you. I have statements showing no credit for these payments. I need to speak with a person.

Hello, I'm Henry Coley and my account number is [redacted][redacted]. I've been receiving late charges due to an incorrect due date. Today, I was finally able to access my statement and identify the issue. I kindly request the removal of the late fee and a change of the due date to the 15th of each month. When I contacted customer service, I was informed of one late fee per 12 months. However, I believe this situation is not my fault and would appreciate if it could be rectified.

I recently contacted Synchrony to have my husband removed as an additional user on our closed Lowes Credit Card account due to us applying for a mortgage solely in his name. Despite their assurance to remove him, it will take 30 days which may affect our house closing in 2 weeks. The mortgage company requested a letter confirming his removal from the account but Synchrony claimed they don't have such a letter. I am urgently requesting Synchrony to provide a brief confirmation letter via email to resolve this issue promptly. It is crucial for our mortgage approval and the completion of our home purchase. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

After my Walmart card was transferred to Capital One, I paid off the remaining balance. Recently, I received an email from Synchrony stating I owed $24. When I contacted Walmart, they confirmed my balance was zero. Despite this, Synchrony sent me a late payment notice, increasing the balance by $20. Synchrony claims they have no record of my account and advised me to have Capital One reach out to them. However, when I contacted Capital One, they directed me to contact Synchrony again for resolution. The back and forth between Synchrony and Capital One has been frustrating.

I have an active CareCredit account for dental procedures, which is in good standing. I cleared a previous account a few years ago within the promotional period. Recently, my application for a Home credit card was denied due to information from Experian stating too many recent inquiries and a credit score of [redacted]. However, I have only applied for CareCredit for dental work and the Home credit card. I checked my Experian credit score right away, and it shows a score of [redacted], not [redacted]. I request an immediate correction so my excellent credit history is accurately reflected.

I recently received an email regarding my HYS PERSONAL: [redacted] account from Synchrony Bank. They have mentioned that the account has been changed to a Dormant status and asked me to contact them urgently to reactivate it to avoid potential escheatment. The email states that they may have to send the funds to my last known state of residence if I do not reach out. However, it also emphasizes not to reply to the email as it is unmonitored. Just wanted to confirm if this is legitimate.

I recently received a notification regarding my Lowe’s account stating that my credit limit is being reduced due to various external factors. These include having too many accounts with high balances, a lack of real estate secured loan information, high balances on bank cards compared to credit limits, and not paying down retail account balances over time. I have consistently paid my Lowe’s bills on time and even settled them within promotional periods. Receiving this letter has been disheartening and disappointing. While I understand that Synchrony Bank manages numerous accounts like mine, I have always strived to be a responsible customer. This notice has prompted me to reconsider my future relationship with Synchrony Bank.

I have recently received 3 emails from Synchrony Bank regarding a Trial Deposit made to an AMAZON CREDITBUILDER account. The emails state that despite opting out of marketing emails, I might still receive account servicing notifications. The sender address is from Synchrony Bank at [redacted] Election Road, Suite [redacted], Draper, Utah, [redacted], USA. The email instructs not to reply to this message to avoid any misuse of the email box. I have had a Synchrony Bank Amazon credit card since January [redacted]. I have always been a responsible customer, consistently making on-time payments. However, after relocating to California, I closed my previous bank account, causing an autopayment to bounce. I attempted to correct this by making a one-time payment and setting up a new autopay from my Chase account, but mistakenly input the wrong account number and routing number. As a result, I incurred late fees, interest charges, and had my $10,[redacted] credit limit account closed, despite three years of good standing. I am seeking assistance in having these unfair fees removed and my account reinstated as a valued customer.

In January [redacted], I contacted customer service to settle my bill. Uris informed me that my balance was $[redacted].70, and after discussing with a manager, stated that all late charges would be waived if I called back by 2/7/[redacted]. Despite speaking to multiple managers and representatives, my issue remains unresolved. Feeling frustrated, I made a payment of $[redacted].14 just 9 minutes ago. I am seeking a refund as this amount should have been forgiven, bringing my account to $0. I would appreciate assistance with this matter.

Midland Credit Management has been contacting me about a debt they claim I owe, allegedly from an eBay credit card opened on 9/26/[redacted]. I have repeatedly informed them that I never had, nor applied for, such a card. They have refused to provide any details regarding the card or its transactions. With the discovery that it was likely opened by my niece, Bernadette L., who used my information for identity theft, I now see that it was another fraudulent card she obtained. A Midland Credit representative finally disclosed that the card was sent to my niece's address, which aligns with my suspicions. I am now able to pursue legal action and resolve this issue. This situation has been negatively impacting my previously impeccable credit history. I am seeking assistance from anyone who can help rectify this matter promptly.

I recently discovered that all four of my credit cards with Synchrony Bank have been closed, even though I have always maintained perfect standing and never been late with my payments. I have used these cards to make important purchases such as a fence, a driving lawn mower, and for my lawn service. I am puzzled by this sudden closure and am eager to understand the reasons behind it. I am hoping to reconnect with someone from Synchrony to discuss how I can potentially reactivate my cards or shed light on this situation. Feeling quite lost at the moment and seeking guidance on how to proceed.

On January 21st, I was notified that there was an attempt to use my credit card in Texas, but the transaction was declined. Despite receiving a new card and PIN, when I attempted to use the replacement card, it was also declined. I have been unsuccessful in accessing my account for the past two weeks to review the charges. My Experian account indicates that $3,[redacted] of my credit limit has been exhausted, which I have not utilized. I am seeking assistance on disputing these unauthorized charges.

I mailed a certified letter on January 1st to request the return of $[redacted].86 and $60 in overdraft fees that were fraudulently taken from my bank account by a hacker. I included copies of my bank statements showing the unauthorized charge from Spider Web in California, a location I have never visited. As a 79-year-old handicapped woman on a fixed income, this situation has put me in a difficult position. I am eager to have this issue resolved promptly and to have my money reimbursed. Please contact me in the afternoons at 1-[redacted] or via email at [redacted]. Thank you.

I have 5 promotional purchases on my account. One of them expired on March 1, [redacted], with an outstanding balance of $6.70. Despite making 9 payments since November 4, [redacted], and contacting Synchrony Bank approximately 5 times, I have been unable to get the $6.70 payment allocated correctly. The customer service representatives I spoke to assured me that the balance was cleared, but my account still shows it as unpaid. I have found their attitudes to be frustrating, and as a result, I will avoid stores that use Synchrony Bank in the future. Once I settle the accounts, I plan to close them all. I intend to share my negative experience with everyone I know to highlight the issues I have faced.

I did not authorize the opening of this account. When I visited the store to explore furniture purchase options, I consented to a credit check for financing eligibility only. I explicitly stated I did not want an account opened. Recently, I contacted the [redacted] number to close the account, but I am uncertain if the closure was processed. I am reaching out to verify the account's closure and ensure I am not liable for any future transactions on this card or with your financial institution. Kindly send me an email confirmation once this request has been successfully fulfilled.

In November [redacted], Lowe's had an 18-month interest-free promotion that I missed due to a late email. On the last day of the promo, I tried to make a $[redacted]+ purchase of Trex composite decking boards online but encountered issues with a military discount automatically applying instead of the special financing. Contacting their chat support at 10:05 pm was unhelpful and time-consuming, leading me to miss the promotion by 11:59 pm. Following up with Lowe's the next day, I was directed to Synchrony Bank for approval. Considering Home Depot but finding their prices high, I seek information on when Lowe's will offer the interest-free promotion again. Thank you for your assistance. - G.F.
