We were being proactive to notify Synchrony Bank that we are traveling in order to avoid any declines. This is PAINFUL! First I navigated thru the auto attendant and had to listen to account info I did not need. Then asked for income to raise our credit limit which we did not want. Next I get a live person “Zack” in the Philippines. I provide the travel advisory and he first needs to to talk with my wife who is driving our vehicle at **mph on I-** while I help steer the car. He refuses to call me back. Next he asked if we are traveling International and I say we are in the Carolinas in the USA. There is much more, but why must I invest ** minutes for a short advisory which Synchrony asked me to do the last time we were declined while traveling. **** credit and this is irritating as I do not have this issue with my other cards.
