I have had my Ashley Furniture account dropped and my J.C. PENNEY account lowered from $**** credit to $***. I believe this was due to me having two CREDIT ONE CARDS which I thought were just one that had been upgraded and did not realize how to get to the second account on line. My payments for Ashley have always been on time, there was one JC Penney's account that I paid my balance to my husband's account in error as he had a zero balance. His name was Gary R. Jones, Sr. and he died Oct. **, ****. I had contacted the company when I got a late notice on my account and told them he was hospitalized in another city and I had been there with him until his death and had paid the wrong account and asked that they transfer the funds to my account. Instead, they sent a check after he died. In the meantime, I paid the amount which was $**.**. The next time I went to use the charge, I found that I had my credit limit reduced to $*** and talked to some foreigner who did not want to hear my "sob" story. Now, they tell me since he died and they closed the account, they cannot look it up to see what transpired. I am sorry that Synchrony has no heart for an always on time paying customer who found herself in dire circumstances. Not to mention, I am almost ** and have been raising two great grandsons who are now almost * and * since birth so have had a big burden placed on me. I wish to have the accounts reinstated. it has ruined my credit score and I want to buy a new car and my payments to Ally bank on my old one have also, never been late, not one time, same as my mortgage to Ocwen Banking and other accounts.
