I was trying to use my JCPenney master card and it was declined when I called the *** number on the back of my card, the lady was very rude to me stating that a payment wasn't made last month therefore I could not use my card until a payment was made. First of all I have been a loyal customer for years and have always made my bill on time, I'm not sure what happened. My husband always pays our bills online he said he paid it but I'm going to check and make sure when I get home. Even if the payment was a little late that doesn't give the lady the right to be very rude to me and refuse to let me use my card after I have been a loyal customer for years
