I would like to report my experience at the Supercuts salon in Lewisham regarding the service I received. On Tuesday, June 25th, I visited the salon to have a simple color treatment done. Unfortunately, the hairdresser's actions resulted in severe damage to my hair and burns on my scalp. The stylist mistakenly applied strong chemicals to lift the color from the top of my head to match the rest of my hair, causing significant damage and burning. Despite efforts to correct the mistake, my hair was left in a terrible state with uneven coloring and damaged texture. The salon manager attempted to rectify the situation, but it was ultimately unsuccessful. I left the salon with wet hair, a scarf covering my head, and a ruined shirt due to dye stains. My scalp is now burnt, and my hair is gooey and breaking off. I feel devastated as it has taken me months to achieve the desired color for a special event next month. The situation is unacceptable, and I am considering legal action if a satisfactory resolution is not reached.

I have been a loyal customer of Supercuts for years, visiting every couple of months. Today, during my visit, they checked my temperature and said it was [redacted].6 or [redacted].8, which seemed extremely high. Working at a hospital for over 27 years, I know that if my temperature had been that high, I wouldn't have been able to drive or walk. The staff was rude, making me feel awful as they shut the door and locked it after I left. I drove to Walgreens, bought a thermometer, and checked my temperature, finding it to be 97.9, not the normal 98.6. I have decided never to return to Supercuts and will share my experience with friends and family. It's concerning that they didn't offer to call for medical assistance if my temperature was indeed as high as they claimed. I hope they improve their temperature-checking equipment for the safety of others. I have already informed some friends, and they agree that how I was treated was wrong, and they will not be going back. If you read this, I hope you take it as feedback to improve customer service.

I contacted one of your Massachusetts locations about getting my eyebrows, sideburns, and split ends done. When I arrived, the service felt rushed, and I was told they could only trim half an inch off my sideburns. I wasn't happy because I wanted a longer, Elvis Presley style. The appointment took less than five minutes and cost $20. Dissatisfied, I reached out to another Supercuts, and they were more accommodating, but too far for me to return easily. I feel misled and overcharged for such a quick service. I expect better customer service and a proper resolution for this issue.

On September 24th, I visited the salon for a Bellagio touch-up on my natural dark ash blonde hair with a blonde Bellagio that needed refreshing. Instead of one hairdresser, I had two working on my hair. The more experienced one guided the less seasoned stylist in the Bellagio technique, resulting in an uneven coloring with noticeable brassiness and over-bleached bangs. While I initially tried to overlook the issues, I couldn't bear to go to work with my hair looking off the next day. I returned to the salon on September 25th for adjustments. Despite the stylist's efforts, the outcome still fell short of my expectations, leaving me contemplating finding a new salon for corrections. I believe better education for Regis employees is necessary to avoid such situations in the future. I am disappointed with my recent experience and hope for some form of reimbursement for the inconvenience.

I wanted a haircut and decided to visit the Huntington Ave salon in Boston. After calling and being told they were open until 6pm, I booked an appointment for 4:30pm. Upon arriving, I discovered the salon was closed. I called again and was connected to the Fenway store, learning later that the Huntington location had been permanently closed. Even though Google still showed it as open, the staff at Fenway were unhelpful and unapologetic. I wish Supercuts would update their Google listing to avoid confusion. The lack of communication and the inconvenience left me disappointed and frustrated. I had to cancel my appointment, and the experience was disheartening, especially considering my efforts to make it there on time.

On Saturday afternoon, I went to get all-over highlights at Supercuts in Conroe. Due to my regular stylist's unavailability, I opted to visit this location. Unfortunately, the result was a disaster with terrible blotches and missed spots in my hair. The next day I contacted the assistant manager who attempted to fix it by turning my hair completely blonde, which was not my preference. After a long process, my hair still had uneven streaks and highlights that were not satisfactory. Despite the manager trying to offer a voucher for a future visit, I insisted on a refund for the $[redacted] I initially paid for the botched highlights. Although they showed effort, the experience was disappointing, and I hope for a resolution soon. Thank you.

I recently visited Supercuts in Cobham, Surrey, UK for a haircut. Despite asking for my hair to be cut above my shoulders, the stylist cut off 13 inches leaving an uneven and unblended style with different lengths on each side. Upon expressing my concerns to the manager, she insisted the haircut was fine, blaming my hair and claiming I was in shock. She attempted to fix it but only made it worse, leaving me with a butchered style and offering no apology. The lack of care and skill displayed by both the stylist and manager was disappointing, and I am now stuck with a style that will take a long time to grow out. This experience has been incredibly distressing and unacceptable. I am left heartbroken and unsure of what to do next. Thank you.

During my visit to your store in Pullman, Washington, I encountered some concerning behavior. One employee was leaving with a child, leaving only a male employee who had a child with him on a bench. I observed the male employee loosely putting a mask under his child's nose, not fully complying with the mask mandate in Washington. He then opted for a bandana, which seemed unhygienic. Furthermore, he had long and unkempt hair. When I saw a sign stating that only cash payments were accepted, I inquired and was informed that no checks were accepted either. Despite my concerns and the inconvenience of having to find an ATM, I paid and left. I am disappointed by this experience and do not plan on returning.

Last Wednesday, I visited the Oak Harbor Supercuts on Hwy 20 for pale blonde highlights from Emily. I have chin-length hair with natural brown color. Despite discussing my expectations and showing Emily color photos, I ended up with an all-over orange/brassy hue after a Glaze, which was not what I wanted. I tried to schedule a correction with Emily twice, but she was absent on both occasions, which I found unprofessional. I am now seeking reimbursement of the $[redacted].30 paid for the service and the $16 tip to cover a color correction elsewhere. I have no ill will towards Emily, but I am uncomfortable returning to the Oak Harbor salon due to this experience. Any guidance on next steps would be appreciated. Thank you, D. Gibson

I recently visited Supercuts at [redacted] E. Hospitality Ln. in San Bernardino, CA, for my daughter's haircut. During the appointment, the stylist accused my daughter of having lice, despite me clarifying that it was dandruff. Despite my explanations, the stylist insisted she knew how to detect lice. The interaction was unpleasant, and I felt the stylist needs to properly identify lice eggs before causing unnecessary embarrassment. This experience was upsetting, especially for my 12-year-old daughter, and we left with her haircut incomplete. I believe the stylist needs some form of reprimand to understand that her behavior is not acceptable. I hope this feedback reaches the salon management to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I visited the salon with my daughter for a wash and a trim as advised. I was informed the services would cost less than $25 each. My daughter, aged 10, had her hair washed and trimmed, while mine, shoulder-length, was washed and styled wavy. During checkout, I was surprised to be charged $[redacted] total. I was unaware a simple blow dry cost $50 on top of the haircut, which I feel should have been clarified beforehand. This experience has left me disappointed and I intend to share my feedback on various social media platforms. A total of $[redacted] for a wash and trim for both of us seems excessive and deceptive in pricing.

I used to frequent a salon chain years ago called Supercuts. Every time I visited, the manager would insult me, making me uncomfortable. The stylist who usually cut my hair even had to intervene once. I finally spoke to the owner after numerous insults. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the issue, the owner advised me to go elsewhere, implying that I wasn't a good fit for their salon, insinuating it was because I am Mexican. Despite this treatment, I still returned. The final straw was when the manager deliberately spun the chair I was sitting in too hard. I contacted the owner again, but nothing changed. I even tried to file a complaint online through their website but never received a response. To make matters worse, the owner defamed me online and said degrading things about me. I feel that the salon's behavior towards me was racist, and I am frustrated by the lack of action taken.
