I have had Suddenlink cable and internet for approximately * *** yrs. I had an online account. When I moved apartments I never could get the new account access figured out. Up to that time I had been paying online. I then requested a paper bill which I was billed $*.** monthly. In approximately June I began paying with a check and stub from bill. I paid June and July by check and everything was credited....no problems. Then I mailed my August payment $***.** on August *, ****. When I received my September bill, it showed a past due amount of $***.**. I checked my statement online and it showed that my check @**** on Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union had posted on September ** ****. I called Suddenlink regarding this and they were supposed to check it out. To make a long story short, I have since called Suddenlink at least * times and been told someone would contact me...I cannot talk to any kind of resolution person...they have to contact me. No one has contacted me. I did contact my bank and have them send me a copy of the check that has cleared my bank and is endorsed by Suddenlink at Wells Fargo Bank. I have repeatedly told the CS people at Suddenlink that I have a copy of the check that cleared their bank. They told me Suddenlink does not take checks and the check would have been returned to you. I explained they did accept the check and it did go to their bank. They say no, they did not get it. I do not understand why they cannot trace where this payment ended up. They are totally uncooperative. I am paying the current bill but I will not pay the previous balance....I have paid it. I AM TOTALLY FRUSTRATED WITH SUDDENLINK AND AM NOT GOING TO PAY THE $***.** AGAIN! I NEED SOME HELP RESOLVING THIS ISSUE. iRENE dENKELER ***-***-**** My acct. * is *****-******-**-* Please HELP ME
