Since July (four months), I have reached out to Suddenlink about our internet speed. We are currently paying for internet speed that we are not receiving. We pay for Broadband Service *** Mbps and, on average, have speeds around *.* Mbps based on the Speedtest App that Suddenlink recommended to check the download speeds. Suddenlink has promised to fix it. After speaking with Customer Service quite a few times *) they eventually sent a technician that visited our home (July) but could not fix the problem, simply referring to a follow up visit. The second technician, a month later (August), checked the exterior of the house, but also referred a *rd visit by a technician who was scheduled Sept. **. The technician never showed. I was told they needed to look at the exterior wires from the pole off our property to the house. *) Meanwhile, my wife has been taking off work or leaving early to be at the house for each visit. *) After the third scheduled technician was a 'no show.' I continued calling Suddenlink, waited on hold, several times over an hour (*hr **min today). *) Our problem of slow speed has not been resolved. *) We were CHARGED for the *nd and *rd tech. service visits which we were told would not be a fee. *) I was told by a Suddenlink customer service representative that for the inconvenience of the extremely slow speed (*.** Mbps yesterday) that there would be some type of financial compensation once it was resolved.. but four months later, still no resolution. When I asked again about it, I was given the same response.. "after it is resolved!" *I would like the issue to be resolved, refunded $*** for the tech. service fees of which one was a no show, and compensation for the services we have not received the last four months, my wife taking time off from work to be be present when a technician doesn't come, and the time spent on the phone, emailing, and contacting Suddenlink which now has been over ** hours. - Rick Treadway
