Yesterday, I experienced a transmission stall and nearly avoided a rear end accident while I was out of town. Luckily, the other driver managed to avoid me while their car ended up horizontal. *I had already been in to my local dealership complaining about occasional pausing when the car wouldn’t shift and their answer was to stomp on the gas it’s typical. *There wasn’t a Subaru dealer in Jefferson City mo where I was or I would have had it towed. I called on my way in at **:** this morning and had to leave a message. At **:** I arrived in town with no response and went into the dealership. I talked to the service writer, expressed my desire for a loaner, my concerns for my safety and was told not sure about a loaner because of airbags and I would have to wait to talk to the transmission mechanic! After ** minutes I said I’m sorry I’ve been out of town * days and I’m exhausted and I need to go home. His idea was unload my car shuttle me home with no transportation and maybe if needed shuttle me back got a loaner. I told him no thank you my husband has good life insurance he can drive this death trap, You work out your problems call me and he will bring it over and pick up the loaner. It’s now *:**pm no contact and I realize this problem is not new to Subaru. It’s the reason we now have extended warranty on the drive train. This is terrible customer service and the reason I bought this vehicle was because of the safety features. I don’t particularly want an email. I’d like personal customer service which so far is rated -* but I willl leave my email address,
