I bought a Straight Talk Home Phone Device from Walmart along with a $15.00 activation card. After activation, I received a new phone number. Wanting to port my old landline number to the device, I contacted my local phone company to cancel the service by Jan 3, [redacted], and set up a passcode for account access. Despite multiple calls to Straight Talk customer service in the Philippines, the porting did not go through. It's now Jan 13, [redacted], and I still do not have phone service despite spending hours on hold trying to resolve the issue. The device's IMEI and original number are not in their system, making reactivation impossible. I am stuck with no service, no trace of my purchase, and no help from customer service. I am facing the potential loss of my landline number in 18 days if not resolved soon.

Last month, one of your Customer Service Representatives provided me with incorrect information about my reward points, resulting in the loss of my service after 15 days. I have been without a phone since, causing significant inconvenience as I have accounts linked to that phone number for my kids' doctors, school, daycare, etc. Is it possible to receive any assistance to help mitigate this situation? Perhaps I could be compensated for the additional 15 days I was wrongly told I would receive?

I am unable to access my phone due to not remembering the passwords for my accounts. Resetting them by receiving codes via email or phone is no longer possible. This situation leaves me unable to wipe my phone clean or locate it using apps. Obtaining a new phone with the same number is also challenging, preventing access to vital accounts like banking and crypto platforms. Despite having all necessary personal information, Straight Talk has denied me my account number, prompting frustration. This unfortunate experience may lead me to switch providers after an extended period with Straight Talk. The predicament is concerning as my phone contains sensitive financial information and precious pictures.

I am struggling to get my phone's internet to work. I can't make or receive calls or texts, and I keep getting an offline message. It's urgent because I need to reach my doctors. I recently purchased a Straight Talk SIM card and a 30-day service plan for my unlocked Samsung A71. However, when I tried to activate it on the website to keep my original number, I kept receiving error messages saying the SIM card is invalid. I was in the process of transferring my phone number from an old Straight Talk Galaxy 7 to a new A32 bought on your website, using one of your technicians who supposedly made the transfer. I followed all instructions he gave me, including waiting 1 minute or longer with both phones off before turning on the new phone. Despite following the instructions, the new phone kept failing to become my active phone. After about an hour of trying, my new Galaxy A32 completely stopped working. Despite having a battery level of 91%, it won't turn on. When I plugged it in to charge, nothing happened. On the other hand, the old Galaxy 7 still works, and the transfer never occurred. After a callback, a new technician said she would transfer me to "liability" but then hung up on me instead of transferring me. I'm confused about what is happening with my phones.

I am currently experiencing issues transferring my phone number, [redacted], to a different device due to misinformation provided during the process. I lost my original phone and attempted to transfer service to a new phone, using a temporary device with Wi-Fi capabilities. However, I was unable to receive a verification code during the online transfer process as it was sent to the unreachable device. This caused me to disconnect from the automated system midway through. Upon calling back, the system indicates that a transfer is in progress, possibly to the incorrect phone. My phone stopped working. Despite visiting 3 different Wal-Marts, I received no help in purchasing a new one. I also attempted to access my account online, but it claims my information is invalid, even though I've had the same details for 4 years. My non-functional phone's screen is black and showed signs of compromise like duplicate apps, dropped calls, and poor battery life before shutting down. Due to my critical medical condition, I urgently need assistance transferring to a new device or advice. I received my new phone three days ago and transferred all my data from my old Straight Talk phone. Unfortunately, my new phone cannot make or receive calls or texts despite spending hours on technical support calls. Despite talking to three agents who escalated my issue, I keep getting disconnected and have to start over. I've had no phone service for three days even though my old phone was working perfectly. I have full bars of reception and 4G signal but my phone status for the number remains unknown. I am beyond frustrated and fed up with the situation. I'd like to either trade my phone or receive a new SIM card promptly.

I lost my phone at DFW airport on January 22. I have been trying to locate it without success. While attempting to switch to Straight Talk, I found out iPhones were not available at my Walmart, so I ended up getting a phone and service from another provider. However, Straight Talk was unable to help me keep my old number which I've had for 20 years. I currently live in Illinois but I am in Texas until April, and all my information is on my old phone back in Illinois. I have spent over 20 hours on the phone with Straight Talk in the last 10 days, dealing with transfers and hold times. I provided my debit card number, but accessing my old phone's information is a challenge. I am desperate to retain my old number and feeling frustrated with the process. I am disappointed with the service from this company. As a loyal customer of Straight Talk, I have never had issues before, but I am frustrated that my current problem has not been resolved. Every time I contact customer service over the phone, I either get told that nothing can be done to help me or I get hung up on with no follow-up, which is unprofessional. On December 15, [redacted], I made an order totaling $67.50 for a phone and phone card, which I have not received. I have not been refunded either. I urgently need this matter sorted out. I have been waiting for a replacement phone since January 10th. It is crucial that I receive a phone promptly, preferably an upgraded model with a month of service included. I've been attempting to activate a new prepaid phone and transfer my Verizon phone number to a new Straight Talk phone. Despite providing all the necessary information to complete the transfer and purchase a service plan, the representatives have hung up on me about seven times now. I've been struggling with this for the past two days and am unable to successfully purchase a service plan. I really need assistance to finalize this transfer.

Hello, I'm Shawnita. I have been receiving messages from your company stating that my phone needs to be upgraded by February [redacted] to support 4G LTE or 5G networks. After contacting customer service multiple times and receiving varying information each time, I was finally directed to a link to order a new phone. I purchased a phone, but it wasn't the one I desired due to budget constraints. I later ordered the preferred phone, but I encountered difficulties trying to transfer the service to it. Every time I called, I received a message about a number transfer being processed, which led to a dead end. I am frustrated as I am unable to reach anyone for assistance. I wanted to transfer my SIM card to a new phone. To my surprise, the cell service providers changed their policy for older phones and I couldn't simply swap SIM cards like before. I had to order a new SIM card and wait for it to arrive, which was frustrating. After trying to put the SIM back into my old phone, it stopped working. Despite speaking with several representatives, none of them explained the issue clearly. Instead, they redirected me to different departments, and I ended up being disconnected.

I can receive text messages, though. I have been without a phone for over two months after my iPhone broke. Despite attempting to file a claim with my Straight Talk insurance, no progress was made. I encountered difficulties reaching a resolution as each call led me to a different representative. Consequently, I had to purchase a new phone for work purposes, but I am still experiencing service disruptions. I believe Straight Talk should compensate me for the two months of service fees I paid without receiving adequate service, the cost of the replacement phone, and any inconvenience caused by not having a working phone.

This is my fifth attempt to resolve my issue. I've been seeking a phone replacement since mid-December. Despite sending in my old phone, I have yet to receive the replacement. I encountered multiple lies during phone activation, spending countless hours on hold. Initially promised 6 months of service for both phones, the representative only applied it to one device. Despite being assured the other phone would receive the same offer, it was later denied. Now, I am facing issues transferring remaining minutes and am being offered only 5 days if I activate the phone. Additionally, I was informed that switching services from Straight Talk to Track Phone along with a new SIM card would transfer my old phone's minutes, but I am skeptical due to the previous deception regarding the SIM card. The whole situation feels like a frustrating game.

I experienced multiple lies while activating my phones. I was on hold for over 30 hours only to be told I had 6 months added to each phone, which turned out to be false. Despite being promised 6 months on both my Track Phone and Straight Talk, only one received the extension. Now, I am being denied the transfer of remaining minutes from my Track Phone and told I would only receive 5 days of service if I activate it. The suggestion of switching services from Straight Talk to Track Phone with a new SIM card for minutes transfer seems unreliable given the previous issues I faced. The time wasted on hold cost me over $2,[redacted] in wage loss, adding to the frustration of being misled repeatedly.
