That is great.*Joven: *It could be that there is no emergency alert yet that is why you have not received one.*THERE WAS JUST ONE ** minutes ago in my AREA*SEVERE ALERT DID NOT COME THRU!!!!!*Joven: *I see.*Joven: *Your phone may have not receive it yet. For this, if the emergency alert setting is turned on, you will be able to receive one.*What do you not understand? THIS IS A SERVICE that SHOULD BE WORKING.*it did work at one time, this phone is fairly new. and this is absurd that the WEA EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING NOR Providing such an important thing.*thanks for your assistance.*Joven: *I understand your concern.*Joven: *Sorry for the inconvenience.*IT Is MORE THAN AN INCONVIENIENCE*Joven: *We can try to factory reset your device.*IT is disheartening to know that in emergencies covered under the settings of the phone with services provided by Straighttalk...That I'm not getting the alerts*I am not going to factory reset this phone nor should I have to be further inconvenienced..*Joven: *I apologize.*Joven: *There are sometimes that the phone will not receive emergency alerts if the area is not affected.*thanks for your apology but it is not your fault*Joven: *It will only select the phones that are near the affected area.*well this area was affected and I did not get the alert.*Thank God it was just a severe weatherstorm...*good night joven
