Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience from 23/03/[redacted] when I tried to play CSGO. As a former 1.6 player with over 4,[redacted] hours in the game, I added 10 British pounds from my card and 4 British pounds from my mother's card to my Steam wallet. After purchasing Prime for CSGO and playing for around 5 hours, I received a concerning message stating that my account was flagged for potential fraudulent activity. This has limited my account's functionality, including purchasing, trading, and more. I have reached out to Steam Support but have not received a response yet. Any tips on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I received a message from a Discord user named Turtles#[redacted] claiming I made an illegal purchase. He mistook me for someone else due to a similar profile photo. After contacting Steam support, they advised me to reach out to a Steam moderator on Discord, Tim Larkin#[redacted]. Tim Larkin instructed me to provide my purchase history, add my phone number to Steam, log out of my account, and verify a code sent via SMS to avoid an account deletion and ban. Although the messages requesting money have been deleted, I was asked to send around [redacted]€ for verification purposes. This situation has left me locked out of my account, and Turtles continues to pressure me to comply with instructions. I am uncertain if this is a scam or legitimate. My Steam username is _JeyrOFF_ with a profile picture of Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean. Any assistance or advice would be appreciated as I am concerned about losing access to my games, including one crucial for my professional endeavors. Thank you in advance for your input and support. Sincerely, Joffrey L.

Hello, I have been experiencing continuous account hacking, being logged out multiple times. I first noticed this issue an hour ago and have changed my password twice in an attempt to access Steam for help. I tried calling [redacted], but there was no steam customer support number available, and the automated message directed me to seek help through Steam. However, I can't access Steam without being logged in, rendering customer support inaccessible. The hacker immediately changes the password whenever I reset it, preventing me from reaching out for help. My main concern is not the Steam account but the safety of personal information such as email, bank accounts, and credit cards. I am eager to ensure the security of my data. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you, Emily

While playing a game, I noticed that I went offline on Steam. Despite trying to reconnect, restarting my computer, and changing my password and email, I couldn't regain access. My friend informed me that my account's name and picture had been changed. I received a code via email to reset my details, but it didn't work either. Now, when trying to access my profile, I receive an error message in German. I am anxious about losing my Steam account as I am deeply connected to my games, friends, and profile history. I urgently need assistance from Steam support to resolve this issue.

I recently purchased a €10 Steam gift card for a friend at 9 am today. I received a receipt via email and notified my friend of the gift, but they haven't received it after checking both their Steam and email accounts multiple times. I verified my PayPal account for the transaction but found no record of it. I have proof of purchase but the gift card wasn't received. Should I buy another one and hope the transaction goes through this time? What steps should I take if the issue persists and I can't buy another gift card?

I purchased 4 Steam gift cards to help someone's kids and family. Unfortunately, the person I gave them to took the activation codes without paying me back. I don't have an account with your company, but I would like a refund for the stolen gift cards. Thank you for your assistance in holding the individual accountable for their actions.

I unfortunately fell victim to a scam on 5/14/22 at 8:05 am at Walmart on Albert Pike in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I was approached by a woman claiming to be the mother of two children with autism who needed gift cards for games she said would help them. Feeling sympathetic, I bought two $50 cards totaling $[redacted]. Later, she insisted the cards didn't work and requested I exchange them. When I returned to Walmart with the cards and receipt, I was informed that they couldn't help with prepaid cards post-purchase. The store manager reviewed the situation but could not provide a refund as only the merchant could assist. I am now unable to reach Steam support to resolve the issue and the woman is unresponsive. It's disheartening to think I may have been deceived while trying to help. Any guidance or assistance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently purchased gift cards for two autistic kids at Walmart, hoping to do a good deed. However, after giving the cards to their mother, she claimed they didn't work. I went to Walmart for a refund, but the store manager said the cards were valid. We tried troubleshooting, but she couldn't verify her account online. The manager suggested contacting Steam for resolution. I hope this situation can be sorted out soon before the allocated three days pass. Thank you.

I need help regarding a situation where I believe I may have been scammed while trying to purchase items for two kids with disabilities. The codes on the cards appeared to be invalid. Despite spending 45 minutes with the Walmart general manager attempting to resolve the issue, we did not receive any further communication from the mother involved. The Walmart manager mentioned that only the mother can provide a refund or assistance, but she requires proof of the issue. She mentioned a transaction override is needed for the refund process. I'm troubled by the disappearance of $[redacted] and the possibility that the situation involving the two autistic kids may have been a scam, especially when I was asked to make an additional purchase. All communication regarding this matter occurred through text messages.

I recently fell victim to a scam through Discord. I received a message about being reported wrongly, which led me to speak with a person named Zolt, who claimed to be a Valve employee. He instructed me to verify my payment method by purchasing a $[redacted] gift card. Unfortunately, I followed his directions and ended up buying another gift card as well, totaling $[redacted]. He mentioned a refund, but now I realize it was a scam since genuine companies don't request gift cards for verification. I admit I wasn't thinking clearly at the time, especially when he threatened me with a Steam IP ban. The individual's name was Zolt Ross, and although I'm still not completely certain, I strongly believe it was a scam. Sadly, I no longer have access to my account, which had important games and data. This situation is disheartening.

Dear Support Team, I am reaching out regarding my request for a refund for the digital version of The King of Fighters XV. After submitting two refund tickets, I have been declined twice due to exceeding the two-hour playtime limit. Considering the nature of The King of Fighters XV and fighting games in general, the issues with the online matchmaking were not immediately apparent within the initial two hours of gameplay. Most of my time was spent offline, and it was only later when I experienced problems such as repeated matches against the same opponent, long wait times for matches, and poor connectivity. Despite waiting for updates, the issues persist even after four months without any resolution or communication from the developer. I kindly ask for a full refund for The King of Fighters XV, as the game's performance does not align with the expectations upon purchase. Thank you for your assistance.

My Steam account was hacked. I received an email at 12:05 notifying me of the email change. It showed the PC's IP as 45.[redacted].[redacted].[redacted] in Moscow, but I'm in Texas, USA. The access code they used was [YMFRJ] which I missed as I was playing Rocket League when they changed the email. I'm unsure if the first card I added was correct, but I believe the last four digits are [[redacted]]. I just want my games back. Please help me regain access to my account. If needed, please contact me via the original email linked to the account. Thank you for any assistance.

I fell victim to a scam where someone pretended to be Steam Support, resulting in the loss of my account and [redacted]€. They hacked me, removed my phone number and email associated with my Steam account. I have screenshots of transactions from Steam for Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links and Lost Ark as well as my bank data to confirm my ownership. I reached out to support but haven't received a response in 11 hours. Steam Support asked for a CD-Key for verification, but I don't have one in my emails and requested an alternative method. My account name is "Pog" and my last known email was [redacted] before the phone number change to "41." I won't share my current phone number here for safety reasons. My ticket number is HT-8J3J-N2H4-DGG6. I'm willing to provide more details with screenshots as needed, except for CD-Keys.

I recently purchased DLCs for Titanfall 2, but unfortunately, I have not been able to download them or access the new content. In an attempt to resolve this issue, I deleted the old campaign in hopes that the new content would become available, but that did not work. When I requested a refund, it was denied based on the fact that I had played the base game for two hours. However, I have not been able to access the new DLC content at all. I have reached out to Origin's customer support multiple times, but the issue remains unresolved. I would like either access to the DLCs that I purchased or a refund for the content that I have not been able to use.
