I am experiencing an issue where my owned and installed games are not displaying in my game library on Steam. I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall the games multiple times, but they still do not show in the library. The only workaround I have found is to search for the games in the store and click "play," which prompts a download but does not add the game to my library. I also tried consolidating all Steam folders, thinking it might be a licensing issue, but this did not work. Even after resetting my system twice, the problem persists. The affected games still have desktop shortcuts and are occasionally playable, but most times when I try to launch them, the program does not start. I am unable to verify the game files as the games do not appear in my library. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue, as I have been unsuccessfully redownloading all my games in the hopes that it might fix the problem.

Hello everyone, I recently fell victim to a phishing scam and lost access to my account which had important information. I submitted a ticket on the Steam website to prove ownership and provided necessary documents like photos of my ID and partial credit card details as advised in their guidelines. However, the response I received stated that to regain access, I must provide the first CD Key used to create the account, which is challenging for a 15-year-old account like mine with over [redacted] games. I feel frustrated that despite providing the required proof of ownership, Steam support is insisting on an outdated method that is hard to comply with after so many years. I even shared other CD keys and purchase history in my attempts to verify the account. As a long-time user with numerous transactions, I hope to find a resolution soon without the need for an old CD key. Thank you for your attention.

I am experiencing difficulty receiving the necessary support for an unfortunate incident I encountered recently. I fell victim to a scam where a fraudulent email, seemingly from my boss at the organization where I am employed, instructed me to purchase gift cards. Following these instructions, I acquired 11 $[redacted] Steam cards from Walmart in Huntsville. After sending the card details as requested, my boss confirmed she had not sent the initial email, unraveling the scam. I have already taken steps with Apple to address the iTunes cards I purchased, filling out forms and providing documentation for a potential refund. I seek guidance on how to proceed in resolving this distressing situation.

My account was mistakenly reported, but the reporter apologized. I reached out to Alias-Gov (SR) who handled the false report. I submitted evidence such as my purchase history, messages with the reporter (Aver555), confirmations from the phone app, and a message he sent me. Despite this, I couldn't regain access to my account due to an undeserved ban. It appears that the password or username has been changed, and the only way to recover my account is by purchasing a $50 gift card, which I can't afford. My brother and I share this account, and we won't be able to play for 50 days. I believe I was wrongly reported for illegal activities without any proof, causing unnecessary stress and fear of losing my account for an extended period.

While browsing the community section on the Steam app, I stumbled upon a discussion advertising certain items. Intrigued, I clicked on it to find out more, unaware that it would prompt me to input my Steam login details. Believing it to be a routine login request, I provided my information. To my dismay, I found myself abruptly logged out of my Steam account. Subsequent login attempts proved futile, despite owning games like "Rust" and "Rocket League" that were purchased through PayPal. Every effort to reset my password or email has been met with claims of inaccuracy. Although my Steam username, Whippy, remains unchanged, the hacker has altered both the account password and email address. This unfortunate situation has left me unable to access my games on my newly acquired PC. I am hopeful that a resolution can be found. Thank you.

I received a suspicious website link through a direct message promising a skin for CS:GO after spinning a wheel and entering my Steam account details. After receiving a skin, I logged out for lunch. When I returned, I couldn't access my account despite entering the correct details. Following unsuccessful attempts, I suspected foul play, changed my password, and reported my account as stolen at 1:00 pm. It's now 7:00 pm, and after several failed efforts and reports, I still haven't received any assistance or reclaimed my account. My account username is davidon0116, and I believe my password should be Bleau2748 or 2748bleau. All I seek is to regain access to my account and skins. I eagerly await your help.

I received a message from a sketchy website claiming to offer skins in exchange for rolling a wheel and entering my Steam account details. Unfortunately, I fell for it and entered my information to get a decent skin. After taking a break and returning to play CS:GO, I discovered I couldn't log in with my correct details. Despite changing my password, the issue persisted. I tried to recover my account by reporting it as stolen, but after several attempts, I'm still locked out with no help in sight. My account name is "davidon****" and my password was "Bleau****" or "****bleau." I'm hoping to regain access to my account and retrieve my skins. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

While watching Shroud's Twitch stream, I received a "free" copy of Rocket League on Steam. After logging in via Steam, my account got hacked by an IP from Russia. I've taken steps to close my bank account. The hackers are now using my account to spam others on Steam with malicious links, causing more accounts to be compromised. Being a full-time streamer, this incident has left me unable to work until I recover my account. The unauthorized activity started at 11:52 am PST on Feb 1st, [redacted], including changes to my email, password, and other account details.

I recently visited twitch.tv to watch a live stream. The broadcaster shared a link for a skin giveaway that redirected me to log in using my Steam account details. After logging in, I noticed my account had been tampered with - my name was changed, my avatar deleted, my bio altered, and a notification appeared threatening account bans and restrictions. Taking action, I promptly changed my password, restoring my account temporarily. However, as of February 2, [redacted], at 10:48 AM, I found myself unable to log in again.

My father recently purchased a new computer, and I attempted to reinstall Steam for him to access his desired game. However, I encountered various issues trying to log into the account. Initially, I couldn't remember the password, as I created this account a while ago. Secondly, there is a problem with the associated email address. Despite no one in my family having an email starting with "r," the partial recovery email displayed starts with "r" and is likely a Hotmail address, which none of us use. This led me to the verification process via PayPal, but it continually states "Failed to verify PayPal account." I'm at a loss on what to do next, considering I am unsure whose email is linked to this account. Locating support has proven challenging as every link redirects me back to the "forgot password," "No access to the email," and unsuccessful recovery via PayPal loop. I would greatly appreciate changing the recovery email to my father's for smoother access.

I purchased 16 Steam cards at $50 each from Walmart in Richmond, MO to use at my Super Bowl party. Unfortunately, all of the cards turned out to be already used when my guests tried to redeem them. I visited the store, and they advised me to reach out to you to resolve this issue. The party was ruined, but on the bright side, we did enjoy the game. I still have all the cards and receipts. My contact number is 1-[redacted].

Recently, my Steam account was hacked, and the hacker changed both my email and password. This has prevented me from accessing my purchased games, especially Rust, which I enjoy playing with friends. I have reached out to Steam with a ticket and additional replies containing account details such as my profile picture, username, and the payment method I used (PayPal) for game purchases. I am hopeful that there is a way for me to regain access to my account so I can resume playing. Thank you.

My Steam account was recently hacked, and my email and password were changed. As a result, I am unable to access my purchased games. I am seeking assistance from Steam to regain access to my account so I can play Rust with my friends. I have submitted a ticket and provided additional information such as my profile picture, username, and payment method (PayPal). I am hopeful that Steam can help recover my account by restoring my original email address and changing the password. This would allow me to secure my account against future incidents like this. Thank you for any help in resolving this matter.

Hello, I didn't lose any items, but I was in the process of trading some high-value skins (Stat Trak Flip Knife Doppler, AK Neon Rider, Stat Trak USP Neo Noir, AWP Hyperbeast, AK Frontside Misty). During the trade, the other party requested that I send a trade offer to a friend's inactive account to verify the items weren't banned. I sent the skins to my friend's account, but now my friend cannot access the account to return the items. I am willing to assist my friend in recovering his account, but we are facing challenges because he doesn't remember the email linked to the account or the password. I urgently need help to retrieve my skins. Can anyone suggest a solution, such as helping my friend regain access to his account, even with his consent to return the items to me? His account has been inactive for over a year, so I believe he would be fine with that. Thank you for any guidance or assistance provided.

Recently, my Steam account was hacked, and I am currently unable to access it since the hacker changed both the email and password. I have purchased Rust and Rocket League on that account using PayPal. I have submitted a recovery request to Steam but have not received a response yet. My username is Whippy, and my profile picture is Dora the Explorer. In the ticket, I provided proof of my game purchases through PayPal with confirmation and transaction details. I am hoping Steam Software can reset the email and password, using my main email and setting a temporary password that I can change later. Currently, I have no access to my account, but I can see there has been no activity since the hacking incident. I am hopeful for a resolution to recover my account. If account recovery is not feasible, I would like to inquire about the possibility of a refund for the purchased games. Kindly contact me via email if more information is needed. Thank you.

I attempted to access my account but forgot the password. Upon trying to reset it, the verification email was sent to an old email address no longer accessible. I am unable to login to the email to reset the password and access Steam. My account name is sebastian_nyberg_1992. I reached out to support for the old email, but due to the passage of time, they cannot provide assistance as the required information is outdated. Apologies for any language errors. - Sebastian.

I am having trouble adding funds to my Steam wallet due to an error message stating my billing address is too long. This is frustrating as my address matches what is listed on all my bills, even when shortened. This is a new problem for me, and it is disappointing that there is no phone support, requiring me to wait for an email response.

Both of my email addresses, [redacted] and [redacted], as well as [redacted], have been compromised by corporations. These companies, operating under different names and generating various forms of income, are sneakily using electronic means to steal identities through app systems and tools. They hide their affiliations and manage risks, often involving USPS for escheatment, spam emails that look genuine, and mobile security software such as McAfee and Norton. Despite giving them permission to access our information, these breaches are a result of a conspiracy. It is important to opt out and not trust these companies blindly, as they still view you as a risk and continue their subtle covert actions.

I have purchased several Nancy Drew games on Steam. Some have randomly stopped working, specifically the sound cuts out without reason. I requested a refund for one game, but was denied due to the purchase date being over 2 weeks ago, which was their refund policy limit. Shortly after, another game I bought also became faulty within 2 days. When I contacted support, they gave the same refund denial template email, but this time stating it was past 2 days since purchase. The sudden change in their refund policy wording has caused me to lose money, even though I have made multiple purchases with them. I am looking to have the full refund I deserve.

My account "ChildishCambino35" or "AverageGamerPleb" was compromised over the weekend on Sunday, February 2, [redacted]. The perpetrator changed the email associated with the account and the password. They have been using my account as a bot, sending messages to my friends with a bit.ly link promising free cs:go skins. I am concerned about losing access to my games, skins, and potentially unauthorized charges on my linked card. I can provide evidence to prove my ownership of the account, details of the card connected to the account, and an approximate timeframe of when the account was created.
