Get a refund for the game. ... I purchased PUBG game on December **th. December **th is when I first got the game. I have never owned the game before December **th ****. So, playtime on the game, by their logic, would have been higher than the policy before I owned the game. (shows * hours since I think at one point a few years ago, I played a little bit on my roommate's computer. I didn't realize I was even playing it on my account since it was his game in the first place.) SINCE I have owned the game, I have only logged *** minutes. Look at the **** play time! I Demand a refund for this product as since I have owned the game, I fall well below the * hour max. This is not a request at this point, this is a demand. they are not looking at their own policy and are simply throwing out canned responses with no interaction or dialogue. I want them to Look at the ******* account or at least open a god **** dialogue with me so that I can explain the situation more clearly if they are having a hard time understanding what is right in front of them.
The time that is on the game is from several years ago toying around on a roommates computer to fiddle with the game a bit. I have only owned the game since December twenty ninth, two thousand and nineteen. Since then, I have only logged *** minutes in the game just to try it out to see how it compares to other games that have come out since the last time I was exposed to the game. I found that it isn't anything new and requested a refund the first time only a couple days later with a play time of only *** minutes. I have been denied every time with no actual human interaction and only a canned response about the play time even though the play time on the game since I owned it is definitely below * hours and is logged to show that as well.
I want the price of the game refunded to my steam wallet so that I can put it back towards a game I know I will enjoy. So, I don't even want the money back, I just want the opportunity to put it towards something different.
I have had an account with Steam for ** years. I have never once had to request a refund for a game as, even the ones I go to rarely, I am still ok with owning. This one game I have no use for and does not offer anything new to my library. I had also made sure to keep my play time below * hours since I bought the game for that very reason.
Repeated refund requests that I feel are simply being brushed off without proper review and zero customer service interaction. This whole experience has left a very bad taste in a long time customer's mouth and I am not above cutting ties entirely and going with a different outlet for entertainment. Steam isn't the only player in the game any more, and they are about to lose a many year long loyal customer.
