I am having trouble using my Steam card because two numbers are unreadable. This is our first experience with a Steam card. I attempted to call the customer service number provided by Steam, but it seems to be no longer in service. I recently had a functioning Steam account with multiple games. I attempted to install Dirt Rally 2.0 but encountered an error message after entering the code. Following Steam's suggestion, I removed the Steam cache from my computer. Subsequently, I received an email with a new password. However, my previous games now appear as "lend" instead of owned. I purchased Red Dead Redemption 2 on Steam, expecting to mod the game, but I spent more time figuring out how to do so than actually playing. Unfortunately, Steam won't refund me because I played for 4 hours, although I only actively played for 2 hours. Scammed: I recently encountered a scam where someone falsely reported my account. I was directed to "CaptainCosmo," who claimed to be part of Valve's team. Through a trading bot, he convinced me to hand over all my TF2 items, worth around $70, under the guise of cleaning them. He then requested $[redacted] USD be added to "tradit.gg" to proceed. He mentioned a pending ban, added me on Discord, and blocked me on Steam. When he realized I couldn't pay (due to being a child), he grew impatient. Despite my efforts to get my items back, he stopped responding. I'm seeking help to retrieve my belongings.

I suspect that my account has been compromised. Every time I attempt to log in, it tells me my password is incorrect, or sometimes it simply denies me access without explanation. The email connected to my Steam account is also experiencing the same issues. This email is crucial as it allows me to receive a working confirmation code to recover my account. Despite trying two other emails and receiving confirmation codes, they are deemed insufficient to verify my ownership because they are not linked to my Steam account. I am worried about losing access to my games and personal data. Please assist in resolving this matter so I can regain access to my Steam account.

Yesterday, I attempted to buy a game, but my credit card exceeded its limit, resulting in a denial. I then used a Christmas gift card to fund my steam wallet and tried to buy the game again, only to be denied once more. I was informed to wait 72 hours before retrying, but even after 24 hours, I am still facing the same restriction. I attempted to reach out to steam using the provided phone number, but I encountered automated responses and voicemails. I am eager to take advantage of the ongoing sales to purchase games, some of which are gifts that require separate transactions. It's frustrating not being able to proceed with these purchases, and I hope to resolve this issue promptly with steam.

I have requested a refund for Planet Zoo twice. Both times Steam told me I had played the game for over 2 hours. This is not possible as I have been unable to access the game due to loading issues and crashes. Despite explaining this in my notes, Steam has not provided any assistance. I am now left with a game I cannot play and without a refund. I am hoping for either the game to work correctly on my computer or a full refund.

When I tried to buy something on Steam, I used my Visa card like usual, but got an error message that said: "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance." I waited, cleared my cart, and tried again, but I kept getting the same error. I even re-entered my card details, but nothing changed. I tried again the next day, but still no luck. Now, I'm not sure what steps to take next. My Steam account is Sinblade723. I need help removing my mobile Steam authenticator. Every time I try to remove it, I encounter an issue. When clicking on "remove mobile Steam authenticator," it keeps showing an error message stating: "report type: lost password." Now, I can't even recover my account because it claims I've exceeded the allowed attempts. Please assist me as I urgently require access to my items. I purchased Hunt Showdown two days ago but only played it for an hour before losing interest. When I tried to refund it to my Mastercard, I was denied because I had exceeded the 2-hour limit by 1 hour and 48 minutes. Although I played the game for an hour in [redacted] (and refunded it) and during a free weekend in December [redacted], I'm being penalized for those hours. Despite explaining my situation three times, I keep receiving the same automated response. I felt frustrated since I cannot make use of this purchase. I believe my playtime from the free weekend should not count towards my total time played and impact my refund eligibility.

I purchased a steam gift card from a 7-Eleven store, but when I tried to redeem it, the card did not work. I encountered an unfortunate situation where a counterfeit Admin impersonated a legitimate representative and coerced me into providing my login details and email verification code out of fear of having my account deleted. Regrettably, I fell victim to this deception and realized too late that it was a scam when directed to CS money. I immediately disconnected the Discord call, but shortly after, I received a notification that my Steam credentials were modified. As a result, I am currently unable to access my Steam account. I purchased two $[redacted] Steam gift cards from EB Games as gifts. Unfortunately, the codes got scratched too hard, and parts are missing. I have the receipt for the purchase. Hello, I am a manager at Giant Tiger located at [redacted] Regina, Saskatchewan, [redacted] Victoria Avenue. Recently, two customers purchased steam cards from us, but when they peeled off the protective covering, the numbers came off as well. I issued them another card, but the same issue occurred.
