I clicked on a csgo page and found a link offering free skins because of a server shutdown. They were giving out skins for free so I visited the website and received a skin. After entering my information, my account got locked, and both my email and password were changed. Now, I am unable to access my account and all my games. I am unsure if the csgo link caused my account to get hacked, but everything occurred right after that. I am desperate to regain access to my account and games. Please assist me with resolving this issue.

I attempted to verify my account with my mobile authentication number but mistakenly entered a different number I received from a stranger. Subsequently, my CSGO skins were traded to a DOTA 2 market and then transferred to an account belonging to someone named Lil PP. I suspect Lil PP acted as a mediator due to lacking gaming data, and to illustrate the deceit, I do not even engage in DOTA 2, and Lil PP is not among my friends. I am seeking guidance on changing my Steam mobile authentication code and potentially receiving compensation for the lost skins. Kindly reach out to me via the provided email for a prompt response. Thank you.

Hello, I have encountered a problem with the Steam client service and certain games. Recently, when I launched Rocket League, I experienced random disconnections from games without any discernible pattern. I attempted to resolve this by switching to Ethernet, but unfortunately, the issue persevered. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps like disabling the firewall, port forwarding according to Steam's instructions, rebooting my PC and router, and exploring other potential fixes, the problem persists. Surprisingly, my internet connection is stable since other devices on the network function without any issues. After uninstalling and reinstalling Steam, I am now unable to even log in to my account. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased Destiny 2, installed it, and enjoyed playing it. The following day, Steam acted as if the game was uninstalled even though it was still in the program files. Steam didn't allow me to verify the files or access the properties tab. After uninstalling and reinstalling the game, it worked for around two weeks but has now repeated the same issue. As I live in a rural area with slow internet, it takes approximately 24 hours to install the game each time. If this problem keeps happening, I might have to consider giving up on playing the game. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased a bundle that included Citadel Forged with Fire and two other games, which were not a priority for me. However, when attempting to play Citadel Forged with Fire, I encountered excessively long loading screens that led to crashes. Regrettably, my gameplay hours now surpass the maximum allowance for a refund request by a small margin (I have accumulated 3 hours and 55 minutes). As I am unable to enjoy the game due to these technical issues, I am inquiring about the possibility of receiving a full refund for the entire bundle. Thank you, -A Hopeful Gamer

I have been trying to resolve this issue with the card I purchased since last Friday. The card keeps showing as invalid, and I just want to get my money back. I am not interested in paying to have the card fixed. It has been frustrating as I planned to give it to a friend as a Christmas gift. I simply want the $[redacted] that I loaded onto the card returned to me. If this is not resolved, I will have to involve my lawyer. Thank you.

I received an email notifying me that my phone number, Steam authenticator, and email address were changed on my Steam account without my knowledge. I suspect I may have clicked on a spam message accidentally while trying to delete it, leading to this situation. I am currently unable to access my account as it seems to be locked. Additionally, I received an email informing me that someone used my account to log into an online coin/gaming website. I have reached out to Steam support multiple times but have yet to receive a response. Fortunately, I still have the recovery code and other information to prove my ownership of the account.

Dear Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to address the VAC ban that has been placed on my account. Before delving into the details, I kindly request that Steam verifies the significant amount of time and money I have invested in this account. I have no intention of jeopardizing my primary account, for which I have made substantial investments. Residing in Dubai, I faced financial challenges that restrained me from playing CSGO for approximately a year. Regrettably, my account was compromised during this period, and due to pressing matters, I was unaware of this breach. It was only a few months ago that I managed to recover my account, albeit without the opportunity to engage in CSGO. I am eager to resume playing, and it seems unjust that my account has been banned without an opportunity for me to clarify the situation. Additionally, CSGO is the only game I play. I implore Steam to review my case, consider my circumstances, and revoke the VAC ban. The account holds significant value to me, evident through my inventories and commitment. I am hopeful for a favorable outcome.

I purchased the wrong version of Call of Duty Black Ops III. I intended to request a refund for the correct version but couldn't due to a family gathering. I left the game running unintentionally, exceeding the 2-hour limit. I wonder if a refund is still an option considering I wasn't actively playing it for the 7 or 8 hours it remained open.

I recently bought Dead By Daylight. It took 25 hours to download. When it finally opened, the frame rate was extremely low and caused a crash. I restarted the application, but the game froze. Even after I closed it, it kept running in the background for 4 hours. I had to restart my PC to completely shut it down. Now, when I try to open the game, it won't launch. Strangely, my play time shows as 4 hours, even though the game was only open for 2 minutes. I appreciate your attention to this refund request.

I recently bought Monster Hunter on my PC and started playing but encountered significant skips and freezes. After getting upset when the game froze, I left my desk to spend time with my family on Christmas, unknowingly leaving the game running. Unfortunately, when I returned to request a refund due to exceeding the two-hour playtime limit, my request was denied. I kindly ask for your understanding of the situation and consideration for a refund. Thank you for your time.

I requested a refund for Rust some time ago because of its low frame rate and constant lag. I decided to try it again this year, but I experienced long waiting times to join a server (1-2 hours). When I asked for a refund, it was denied because it showed that I had played for more than 2 hours. This is incorrect because it includes the 1 hour I spent the first time I bought the game. Account: dianaasilva. If this matter is not resolved, I would appreciate speaking with someone who can assist me.

I received a new PC for Christmas and attempted to log in to my old Steam account to access a previously purchased game. Due to login issues, I changed the password using my grandma's email linked to the account. After successfully changing the password, I decided to update the email to mine but realized there was already an account associated with that email. Subsequently, I clicked on a free CS:GO skins link that required a login. Since then, I have been unable to access my account and cannot reset the password as I lack one of the proof of ownership items listed on the Steam website.

I attempted to request a refund for a Jurassic World bundle I purchased on December 15th, but unfortunately, it was not approved. Despite it being less than two weeks since the purchase, I have already played the game for over two hours. As a newcomer to Steam, I am unsure of what steps to take next as this is my first refund request. It would be greatly appreciated if the refund could be processed, or if not possible, some guidance on alternative solutions would be helpful. My username is jazzerhazzer.

Last night, on Christmas night, I bought 6 Steam cards for 2 people, with 5 of them coming from Walgreens store #[redacted] in Whittier, California [redacted], phone number [redacted]. I plan to return to the store to speak with the manager and hopefully get a case number. However, I believe the issue is not only with the store but also with your company. Out of the 6 cards I purchased, 4 were already used. I take precautions by not just selecting cards from the front of the stack and picking them from the middle, but it seems this wasn't enough. If only one card was used, I would be upset, but with 4 out of 6 cards, there seems to be a larger problem. I am seeking a resolution for my losses totaling $[redacted]. My name is Michael Dunn, and you can contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] I hope to hear from you soon to address this issue promptly. Thank you, Mike Dunn.

I have been using a Steam account for many years under the name "derp123q." Recently, on December 25th, I created a second Steam account using the same email address, named "derp123e." After logging out of "derp123e," I tried to log back into "derp123q," but it is telling me my password is incorrect. When I click on "can't sign in" and provide my email address, I receive a verification code. However, it only gives me the option to change the password for "derp123e." This situation is concerning for me because I have invested a significant amount of time and money into games and inventory on "derp123q." I am unsure what steps to take next and this issue is causing me a lot of worry.

Four years ago, during a free weekend for Ark: Survival Evolved, I tried the trial for 5 hours. When I later decided to purchase the game along with the season pass for $38, I played for about 25 minutes. Unfortunately, the game kept crashing and did not meet my expectations. What I was unaware of was that the 5 hours from the trial period were still counted towards my total playtime. Despite only playing for 25 minutes post-purchase, my refund request was denied because my total playtime showed 6 hours. The explanation provided by customer service was insufficient, and I find it unfair that hours from a free trial years ago are affecting my refund eligibility. I respectfully request a refund for the game. Thank you for your attention.

I installed Rainbow Six Siege and began downloading it. After pausing the download for 10-20 minutes, I mistakenly clicked "cancel" instead of "pause," resulting in starting the download from scratch. Despite downloading it fully, the game failed to open properly. Every time I attempted to launch it, the game would run briefly before closing. I decided to uninstall and reinstall the game, but encountered an issue when trying to download it onto my D drive as it indicated a corrupted disk.

I've spent around 7 hours playing Rust on my Mac and encountered significant issues with support. I experienced input lag and random framerate drops, making the game nearly unplayable. I spent all my time adjusting settings to try to make it work. While I understand that Steam only allows refunds within a 2-hour playtime window, this isn't sufficient to customize settings with over [redacted] parameters. I would like to request a refund for my purchase. Thank you, S.

I got logged out of my Steam account and now I can't log back in. I tried using both the Steam app and website, but they are saying that my email, which I've used for the past 7 years, is not linked to any account. This same issue happened to my Blizzard account, so it seems like I may have been hacked. I've managed to change the passwords for all my other accounts, but I can't do that for Steam since it seems like my account doesn't exist anymore. Despite this, my friends have confirmed that they can still see me on their friends list and that my account is still active.
