Hi, I noticed an alert about unusual gifting on my Steam account. I have reviewed my recent transactions and can only see legitimate gifts to help friends with Destiny 2. The only other activity was two refunds, which were to switch payment methods for a cheaper Steam wallet. I value my contributions to Steam and have not engaged in any commercial activities. I kindly request that you remove the gifting restriction as I would like to buy a game for my girlfriend using my Steam wallet balance. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you.

On Saturday, December 21st, I made a purchase for Stardew Valley using Ideal. After encountering an error message and receiving multiple emails from Steam, I ended up unintentionally buying the game twice. I now have two copies of the game but only need one. I tried to request a refund for the extra purchase, but due to spending more than two hours playing, my refund was automatically canceled. I have evidence of the payment in my bank account and the correspondence from Steam acknowledging the duplicate purchase. Can someone assist me in resolving this issue?

I have tried reaching out multiple times about my issue. The card with the number RXFFJ-RX657-PGXM4 is not working as expected. I have contacted customer service via text and phone calls but have not received a resolution yet. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I will have to escalate it further to the Better Business Bureau and possibly consider legal action to get a refund for the non-functioning cards.

I recently changed my cellphone number and upgraded my phone. Unfortunately, my account is still linked to my old number, which I can no longer use. I am able to access the email associated with my account, but I am having trouble signing in. Could someone please assist me by sending my backup codes or deactivating the two-step verification process? My current cellphone number is [redacted], and my account is under the username Castle. My name is Travis T., and I was born on the 13th of December, [redacted]. I have purchased multiple games, with the most recent one being "SCUM." I would greatly appreciate any help in recovering access to my account.

I believe my Steam account has been stolen. I am unable to sign in with Steam Guard as my email for Steam has been changed. While using my browser, Steam prompted me to sign in again, but after entering my email and password, I couldn't access my account. I tried to reset my password by sending a message to my email, but I did not receive it. I also noticed several notifications from Steam saying that my phone number and email were changed, and my Steam authenticator was turned off, which I did not authorize. I am at a loss on what steps to take to retrieve my account. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My account was blocked when I was asking some questions to Steam. Despite having all the account information, they are not granting me access. The first two payments were made using my friend's credit card, preventing me from providing that information. I created the account while on vacation in Asia, so I don't have the zip code used there. I have invested time and money into the account, with countless hours played and games won, holding cherished memories within it.

One of my friends mistakenly reported me for duped items. He advised me to contact one of the administrators. When I reached out, the admin, named Mr. M, informed me that my account was facing a permanent ban. Unfortunately, Mr. M was unhelpful and unfriendly throughout our conversation. Feeling apprehensive, when he instructed me to log in to Tradeit.GG, I was suspicious. Despite trying to be polite, Mr. M quickly became impatient and hostile. Now, my account has been removed, and I am confused about the reason behind it. My previous name was Gutte_DK, and my account name is phillip_p.

I purchased two $50.00 cards from Walgreens on 12/22. I scratched the code and sent a photo to my friend. However, when she tried to use the card, it said it was already used. I find it impossible since only I had the codes. I cannot use the $[redacted].00 on these cards due to this issue. The codes are GAC4B-LZIQ4-4RRHV and 4W9NP-3DAO1-9OOHB. Please advise on what to do. If someone else used them, I would like to understand how since no one else had access to the codes.

I purchased "Black Ops 2" on December 21st at 3:59 PM. There was an error with the transaction, and I received an email stating the transaction didn't go through, prompting me to buy the game again. Later, I received a second email confirming the initial transaction did go through after I had already made a second purchase, unintentionally buying the game twice. Despite contacting Steam multiple times about this issue, they declined a refund due to my playtime exceeding 2 hours. I seek a refund for one of the transactions amounting to €32.99 since I paid double the price of €65.98 due to a Steam error. Thank you. - E.

I recently encountered a situation where I was approached to participate in a CS:GO tournament that required me to have an inventory value of less than £10. Following the instructions, I attempted to trade with a trusted friend while communicating on Discord. During the trade, we both experienced a disconnection from Steam. Upon reconnecting, I mistakenly traded with a different account without realizing the change. Subsequently, my friend did not receive the trade offer. I understand that trades are typically final, but given the circumstances of the unexpected disconnection leading to trading with the wrong party, I am seeking guidance on how to address this issue.

Minutes before my account was stolen, a "friend" claimed to have reported it and led me to believe he was a legitimate Steam support representative. He convinced me to share sensitive information like my authenticator, phone number, and more. Please, Steam, pause all account activity on Iamchosen0. I have evidence and can provide more details; my heart is heavy with confusion. I shared account purchase pictures with this individual, thinking he was a real Steam representative, and now I fear for the security of my account. I have proof of ownership, including games gifted by friends. I really hope for a prompt response to avoid financial losses for me and my friends. The second-to-last picture shows my message to the person who took my account, and the last one is evidence of games purchased by a friend for me.

I have been trying to reach out to you for three days regarding my refund request for two Steam cards purchased on December 4, [redacted]. I have not received any response whatsoever. Is this how your business operates? I had the impression that customer satisfaction was a priority. I am disappointed with Steam. While I have bought many Steam cards without issue before, now that I am facing a problem, it seems like assistance is not being provided. I cannot afford to overlook this matter. $[redacted].00 is a significant amount for me. Kindly contact me promptly. Thank you. I anticipate a response this evening.

I fell victim to a $[redacted] scam recently. The culprit posed as my school principal in an email and tricked me into buying 5 $[redacted] Steam Cards. I scratched the codes and sent pictures to who I thought was the principal. Realizing it was a scam, I didn't send the cards to the fraudster. Despite not using them, Game Stop won't refund me due to the scratched codes. My attempts, including my son's, to resolve this have been unsuccessful, facing challenges at every step. Communication with Steam has been unproductive, leaving me frustrated. Even after a Game Stop employee suggested redeeming one card, hoping to return a game for a refund, it didn't work out. I can't even gift the other cards due to not knowing which one was used. The whole situation is exasperating, and the lack of support is disappointing.

Hello, my issue is that I recently had to factory reset my PC due to a problem with Discord. Now, I need to re-verify my computer, but I'm unable to because I no longer have access to the email linked to the account. The email is old and was associated with a phone I no longer have. Despite this, I can provide verification using the old card on file (though it's inactive), my social security number, and answer any security questions. I've made significant investments in my Steam account, and I'd greatly appreciate any help in changing my email to regain access. Thank you, Dustin F., also known as (osmik | Grizz) on Steam.

I am a big fan of Steam and usually have no issues with their service. However, I find their 2-hour playtime refund policy a bit unreasonable. Recently, I bought 3 VR games for my Oculus Rift S, but due to severe motion sickness, I had to return the VR headset. I requested a refund for the games, explaining the situation, but Steam only accepted the one game that had 2 hours of playtime. The other two games, with 6 and 11 hours of playtime, were declined. It's frustrating to have $60 worth of games sitting in my library that I can no longer use or pass on to friends since they are digital copies. I wish there was a way to address this issue and make better use of these games.

Dear Steam Support, I encountered an issue on Dec 22, [redacted], around 9 pm Pacific Standard Time. While logging into Steam on my phone, I mistakenly signed into a fake Steam website. Subsequently, I was ejected from my account on both my phone and computer and could not log back in. My password was ineffective, my email appeared to be incorrect, and I found myself locked out of my Steam account. I seek assistance in reclaiming access to my account. To aid in the investigation, I possess a receipt for a Steam wallet card from GameStop, details of my outdated password, my username, my initial email ([redacted]), and a list of the games associated with my account. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you for your assistance.

I am having trouble buying Tekken 7 with my Visa debit card as the transaction cannot go through. The purchase was not completed due to my credit card information being declined by the company. Sometimes, a hold may be placed on funds without a charge being made. After reviewing and correcting the information provided, I would like to attempt the purchase again. I am quite frustrated with this issue and my bank reassures me that everything is fine on their end. Dear Steam, I hope this can be resolved soon.

While I was logged into my Steam account, I came across a link on one of the servers promising a free gift on Steam. Intrigued, I clicked on the link, leading me to a webpage where I was prompted to log in. Without hesitation, I entered my details along with the Steam authenticator code. Suddenly, I was informed that the code was incorrect, and my phone number was removed from my account. Following this, I received an email with another code to enter, which also turned out to be incorrect. To make matters worse, my email was changed to an unfamiliar address, along with my phone number and password. Feeling helpless, I have submitted a support request to Steam and have a reference code available for assistance.

Hello, I recently purchased copies of Splinter Cell Blacklist for my cousin and me, totaling around 13 euros. Sadly, we encountered multiplayer issues, leading us to seek a refund. While my cousin successfully received his refund, my game seems to have gone missing. It's not showing up in my library or purchase history, leaving me feeling like I've inexplicably lost 6 euros. I wonder if I accidentally clicked on "remove permanently" instead of requesting a refund, as I recall asking for one. Regards, Sanse

Hi, I purchased a Steam digital code which was redeemed when I tried to use it. The seller mentioned that I could receive a replacement code if I can prove from Steam that it wasn't activated on the day of purchase. I need assistance in obtaining this information to show the seller. The Steam code is XDGC3-LEQEA-YH48J, bought around 5:30 pm UK time yesterday. I am hoping to get proof from Steam regarding the date and time of activation prior to the purchase to resolve this issue. Thank you for your help. Best regards, Aaron.
