I have a Steam account that I haven’t used since my previous computer. I can't use the old computer because it's broken. I remember my username and password, but I need a verification key code to set up the account on my new computer. Unfortunately, I can't recall the email associated with my account. I'd like to update my email address or get info on the existing one to try accessing it. They require bank details and old emails to make changes, but I can't provide my old bank details as they have changed. I'm frustrated because I have purchased games on the account and can't play them. Thanks, Kasey

On December 9th, I bought 3 $[redacted] Steam Cards, but I discovered that the 5 middle numbers on the back were missing. The clerk at The Shell Gas station where I purchased them kept the cards for 3 days and directed me to reach out to Steam for assistance. The station didn't offer help. I would appreciate either a refund of $[redacted] or replacement cards with all the numbers intact. I hope for a swift resolution to this issue.

I have been a Steam user since [redacted], but recently, I encountered login issues. Despite trying to recover my password, the email for the verification code is not familiar to me. When I input my correct email, it shows as not found. My original username was Searlemax, and my current email is [redacted] Surprisingly, I discovered a password reset email from Oct [redacted] in my inbox. The email contained a verification code, which I presume was from Steam Support. I would like some help to regain access to my account as soon as possible.

Last night, I purchased $[redacted] worth of Steam cards, but when I tried to redeem them, all of them showed as already redeemed. None of them were used by me, and I'm baffled. I also bought $[redacted] worth of cards in total, with only $[redacted] redeemed, leaving $[redacted] that all show as already redeemed. I feel like Steam has essentially taken $[redacted] from me, and I need assistance. Contact me at [redacted] to resolve this issue.

This morning, I received a notification stating that my inventory and marketplace usage will be permanently disabled. I mostly play games and occasionally make purchases from the marketplace, without visiting any third-party sites. Strangely, some of my skins have gone missing, along with my pictures and previous names. I am unsure why these actions have been taken, and I simply wish for my account to be restored to its original state.

This is my first time using a gift card, and unfortunately, I accidentally rubbed off the first letter or number. I'm seeking assistance to rectify this issue, hoping someone can guide me or offer support. I'm concerned about losing fifty dollars due to my lack of knowledge regarding gift cards and not being able to identify the missing character. I don't want to lose the value on this card as I'm on a limited budget being a disabled individual. Any help or direction provided would be greatly appreciated. Please assist me with this situation - I would be so thankful. Apologies for the oversight, I will be more careful in the future. Thank you.

My name is Sahil, and I reside in India. I intended to add $5 to my Steam account, which in India is [redacted] rupees, equivalent to 4.49 dollars. I aimed to unlock all the features on Steam by adding this amount. Unfortunately, I initially added [redacted] rupees when I should have added [redacted] rupees, which amounts to five dollars. Now that I am aware of this, I kindly request a refund of the balance on my account. Regrettably, I am unable to add more funds at the moment due to financial constraints. I appreciate your assistance in issuing me the refund. Thank you.

I bought Insurgency: Sandstorm yesterday for the first time. I had only played it during a free weekend back in June. I'm facing issues trying to refund it now because of the time I spent playing during the free weekend. The game has changed since then and is not as enjoyable for me. However, I'm being told I can't get a refund due to my total playtime being high. On Steam, playtime includes time spent being AFK in the menus. Even though it shows 3 hours and 3 minutes, my in-game stats indicate less than half an hour of actual gameplay. I wish to receive a refund, but I'm being rejected unfairly for an issue that is not my fault.

I bought two $[redacted] Steam cards on December 3, [redacted], for a total of $[redacted]. I gave them to a friend, but when they tried to redeem them, they were told they had already been used. The gas station I bought them from claims they were redeemed, but they were not. The cashier had trouble finding working cards as they had to go through 12 before getting mine. I frequently purchase Steam cards and would appreciate a refund. I have the cards and receipts as proof. Please reach out to me at [redacted].

Dear Steam Support, I recently returned to my Steam account after many years and found I have over $[redacted] worth of inventory items that I would like to sell and donate. I discovered that I was trade banned for an unknown reason five years ago. I am reaching out to request assistance in removing the trade ban since I only wish to sell items on the Steam market and donate games for Christmas. Thank you, Daniel

I recently purchased WWE 2K20 around its original release date but only recently started playing it due to moving homes. Unfortunately, I found that the game runs poorly on my PC with very low framerates, making it unplayable. While I understand the refund policy typically states no refunds after 14 days, I have not exceeded the two-hour playtime limit. I kindly request a refund, if possible, and I am okay with it being refunded to my Steam Wallet. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and Happy Holidays!

I wanted to warn everyone about a scam involving Steam Gift Cards on MeetUp. Someone is hacking the messaging system and pretending to be members, asking for users to buy a Steam Card promising reimbursement. This happened in my group, but I caught it in time. I've confirmed the request was not from the member it claimed to be. I've alerted MeetUp, but with recent layoffs, responses may be delayed. Steam should watch out for this scam. While I know this is not the official Steam platform, I'm using this GetHuman site as I couldn't find another way to reach out to them. Thank you. - D.C.

I visited a trading platform to sell a valuable in-game item in Rocket League, specifically the Red Voltaics. When I attempted to add the buyer on Steam, I was prompted to re-enter my password, which was deemed incorrect. Despite entering what I believed to be the correct password, the system still denied access. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the email address associated with my account had been altered. This is concerning to me as my account contains valuable items and my card information. I urgently require assistance to address this security breach.

During a year-long exchange program, I entrusted my account to my girlfriend's brother, but when we broke up midway through the trip, he took over and changed all the login information, including the phone number, email, and Steam Guard authenticator. After finally reaching him and recovering partial access to the account, I still need to update the phone number and email, which has been challenging because he lost his old phone number after changing it.

While browsing through rlgarage, I unfortunately fell victim to a phishing scam. Upon checking my browsing history, I discovered that the scammer was KeKzO, whose Steam profile is steamcommunity.com/id/[redacted]2/. I am currently unable to access my account due to it being hacked around 6:00 pm EST on 12/20/19. If any of my items were traded to the scammer's account or if unauthorized purchases were made, I am seeking a refund. It is important to me that appropriate actions are taken against this user to prevent further scams. Thank you.

On January 1, [redacted], I purchased FarCry Primal and the Wenja Pack for a total of $19.36. However, I am encountering authentication issues with the UPlay Launcher when trying to launch the FarCry Primal game. Despite having synced and authorized most other FarCry games purchased on Steam with my UPlay account, FarCry Primal is not working properly. After spending three months trying to resolve the issue with UPlay Support to no avail, I am now seeking a refund for my purchase of $19.36.

Hello, I previously contacted your support team from another computer. I am reaching out again to provide more details. I received a message from someone on a site I visited before. Upon entering the site, I was prompted to log in, which I did, but then the system crashed and I was logged out. Now, when I try to log back in, it claims that mobile authorization is not active and that my password is incorrect, even though I am certain it is correct. I am unable to access my account and it indicates that there is no account under my name. I attempted to lock the account with no success. Additionally, my friend mentioned receiving messages from my account to visit the same site, indicating that the email associated with the account has been changed. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

I recently discovered that my deleted images were accessed through Discord's cache during a picture-sharing session in a server. These images were then shared without my consent and used for creating smurf Steam accounts, which were later used to test hacks. I suspect the creator of these accounts can be identified through the link provided, as the account creation date is likely close to the VAC ban dates. I reported these accounts for violating Steam's policies, but unfortunately, no action has been taken yet. I urge Steam support to suspend these smurf accounts and remove the images promptly.
