A user named Sendi shared a link to a website called gamerrolls.com with me. It was a CSGO skin site that supposedly had approval from Steam, but I noticed it didn't have Valve Corporation's tag in the URL. Being careless and half asleep, I entered my username and password. As a result, my email, phone number, and 2FA were compromised. I have changed my email password and scanned my PC for viruses, which showed no issues.

My account was recently removed or blocked after a friend asked me to contact the staff to clarify a false report. I messaged the staff as requested, but instead of verifying the situation, they questioned me about my account. After providing correct answers, I was unexpectedly locked out of my account and unable to log back in. It would have been more efficient if the staff checked my recent purchase history on Steam over the past 7 years to confirm the account ownership details. This would have made the process easier for both parties involved.

I've been experiencing issues with Steam for the past two months. Whenever I try to access my friends list, I keep getting the "FRIENDS NETWORK UNREACHABLE" error message. I've tried all the solutions I could find, including reinstalling Steam, but nothing has worked. Can someone please assist me with resolving this problem?

I have a new gaming PC desktop A718S18, and to set it up, I had to input a new email address. My purchased gaming games, X3 Albion TRC, are not installing because my Steam account is linked to the old email address 2611fraukeharryange, and my username 'comanderkayron' with the password 'wingcommander' cannot be updated. Every attempt to change the email address has failed. However, I can still access Steam and my games with my old PC.

I purchased the game Hades on my account. Unfortunately, it auto-launched after finishing the download, and I had to leave due to an emergency. I am not a fan of the game and requested a refund. I only played for ten minutes, but the game registered 6 hours due to auto-launch. Despite my explanations, I was denied a refund three times without consideration of my situation. Unless this matter is resolved, I will no longer be a loyal customer. I have already discovered an alternative distribution platform and will not be supporting Valve in the future if this issue is not addressed. It's disappointing when a company fails to address customer concerns.

Dear Steam Support, I need assistance with a security issue regarding my account. The account in question was named Deadshot, previously known as Skadoodle, Tyrone Dwayne The Johnson 3rd, and noob11. The games associated with this account include F1 [redacted], CSGO (with approximately 90-[redacted] hours of playtime), Reign of Kings, and Unturned. Additionally, the account holds skins such as M4A4 Damascus, StatTrak UMP Briefing, and various Candy Apple themed skins for Glock, PP Bizon, MAC10, Nova, and FiveSeven Urban Hazard. My previous location setting was mistakenly set to Mc-Donalds Islands. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

My Steam account was hijacked and subsequently deleted a few weeks after being hacked. The person responsible claimed to have mistakenly reported me and provided a link to the Steam admins. Being new to this, I unknowingly shared my account name and code to supposedly cancel the report. Consequently, I lost access to my account and couldn't log back in. Despite several attempts to recover it through the "hijacked account" process, I received no resolution. Resorting to creating a new account as a temporary solution, even that has now vanished. I am deeply concerned about the possibility of never retrieving my valued collection of games. Life seems dull without the paid Steam games I enjoyed. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated, and I am willing to cooperate fully.

I created a Steam account earlier this year to purchase games for my grandson. However, it seems the account has been hacked, and the password changed. I attempted the online recovery process, but it directed me to contact Steam support at [redacted]. Unfortunately, I only reached a voicemail. I'm hoping to speak to a representative who can assist in resetting my account. The account username is jimmyd64152, linked to email [redacted]

Hello, I am currently under a trade ban for 4 1/2 years. I have no memory of engaging in any scamming activities. Although I understand Steam's strict policy against scammers, I am certain that I haven't committed any offense warranting a permanent trade ban. I kindly request the removal of the ban on my account. If this is not feasible, I respectfully ask for clarification regarding the specific incident that led to my ban, as I genuinely do not recall engaging in any improper behavior. Given that this concerns my own data, I believe I am entitled to know the exact details of the trade that was deemed inappropriate. Here is the link to my Steam profile: [redacted] I hold my account dear and am committed to preserving its integrity. Please reconsider the ban. Best regards, Enlay.

Hello! I have reset my Steam password multiple times, and each reset seems to be successful. However, after entering the verification code, it confirms with a message "great you're all set," but then none of the passwords I try seem to work. I have purchased several games on Steam and received one as a gift from a friend. I'm worried about losing access to my games and simply want to regain entry into my account. The mobile app had no trouble with the password reset process and even allowed me to sign in and add friends. Why is it that I can't log in on my computer? I just received my gaming PC today, and I'm unable to use it. Is there a way for me to access my account at this point?

I was recently reported by a user named Mit9575 to a Steam moderator named Dominik for accidentally duping items with my friend. Initially, my friend was asked to pay $50 for a Steam gift card, which was annoying but manageable. However, things escalated when the person demanded $[redacted] due to alleged error logs in their Steam account. We are feeling quite helpless in this situation and could use some assistance. My Steam username is "potato with face," and my friend's username is "concerned crustacean."

Some time ago, my account was compromised, and all my games appear to be missing. My website was tampered with by someone who appeared to be in Russia. I am a 67-year-old individual who suffered a brain hemorrhage, leaving me unable to address these computer issues. I attempted to resolve the situation but inadvertently created additional problems, including opening another account. I struggle with passwords daily, making matters worse. Is there anyone who can assist in resolving this situation? I had to stop due to stress but am now attempting to tackle it again, feeling caught in a cycle. Writing this has been a challenge, but I need to persevere and not let the hackers succeed. - J. Hall

I bought the game "Disco Elysium" as a gift for my husband, but unfortunately, it wasn't compatible with his computer. I asked for a refund the next day with his approval as he had accepted the gift. However, I didn't receive any response from Steam. Last week, I submitted another request, but it was rejected due to being past the deadline. I simply want a refund for this purchase.

Hello, I recently sent a note from my account at [redacted] I believe my account, firefox500gb, was hacked and my games were stolen by someone named Egor from Russia. I suspect they tampered with my account settings. Despite my efforts to resolve this, I now have two accounts, with firefox690 being the new one, but neither are functioning. I am unable to sign into Steam even after changing my passwords. I am seeking Steam's assistance in setting up a working account, recovering my games, and taking action against the thief. This situation has left me feeling stressed and frustrated, and I am in need of help.

I purchased a game on Sunday at 8:30 P.M. and played it all night. The next day, I encountered technical problems running the game on my laptop. Despite requesting a refund within 24 hours at 5 P.M. on Monday, it was denied twice due to my 8 hours of playtime. Additionally, the game went on sale for 33% off shortly after my purchase. I am now seeking a price adjustment for the discounted rate. Thank you.

After resetting my computer, I encountered a problem with Steam where it no longer recognizes the games I purchased. Unlike other platforms like Origin and Ubisoft, Steam seems to have lost all memory of my game library and purchase history. Even though I still have files, when I try to access them, it only shows coding instead of the games. The shortcuts on my computer for the games no longer work either. Since Steam is where I buy most of my games, this issue is significant for me. I don't mind replaying the games, but I want to retrieve what I've already paid for, including the DLCs. Following the computer reset due to game-saving issues linked to a Windows update, I have not been able to verify this as all my games have vanished. I hope to recover my games with the proof of purchase files I have. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I am having trouble accessing my Steam account due to the two-step verification tied to my old phone number. I recently switched to a new phone with a new number and no longer have access to the old phone. As a result, I am unable to receive the verification key required to log in. I still remember my email and password for the account. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I'm unsure what happened. On December 15th, I bought the Elder Scrolls Skyrim 5 Special Edition and initiated the download. I played the game briefly on this computer before closing it. Subsequently, I downloaded Vortex and Mod Organizer 2. The following day, I managed my mod list on the nexus. However, when I tried to launch SSE, it started but then abruptly stopped claiming it couldn't locate SSE. I searched my computer and couldn't find any trace of Skyrim 5 Special Edition, not even in the trash bin. I exhaustively searched using Windows Explorer with no luck. Could this be a Windows issue? I want to reinstall the game on my new gaming computer to enjoy an enhanced gaming experience. I'm not looking for a refund, just guidance on how to reinstall the game.

I created Steam accounts for my grandsons in June/July but only recently found Steam cards for sale, so I purchased £30 worth to buy them the game Slime Rancher. After redeeming the cards and buying the game and DLC, their PC crashed. I bought them a good secondhand one today, and they tried to log in but found the account was locked with Steam Guard. They couldn't access the email code due to no internet. I can't afford to create another account or buy more cards. I urgently need help from Steam to resolve this issue so my grandsons can play Slime Rancher for Christmas. I cannot make phone calls, so I'm looking for an alternative way to contact Steam. Thank you for your assistance, Rookwings.
