Hello, I appreciate your time. I am seeking assistance in regaining access to my alternate Steam account. This account was utilized to play with friends who were at a lower rank in the game I often engaged with, CSGO. Upon returning from a two-year religious mission trip, I discovered that my family had relocated. Unfortunately, I am unable to recall the login credentials for my alternate account, including any associated ID or email address. I still possess my primary account, and the alternate account is on my friends list, sharing common friends with my main account. I am inquiring if there is a method available to recover my alternate account. Otherwise, it will remain inactive indefinitely. Thank you.

This is the fourth time I am reaching out about the issue I experienced yesterday. I purchased a $[redacted] Steam card from Best Buy in Sunrise, FL. Shortly after scratching the card and sending it to my girlfriend, she informed me that the card was not valid. Despite returning to the store for assistance, they were unable to help, and contacting Steam via email did not provide a resolution. There seems to be no live phone support available, making it challenging to address the problem efficiently. The redemption code in question is: NOFN9-MMIR9-P55CA. My name is Dennis Bartlett, and I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted] I am looking for a prompt resolution or a refund.

This is my fourth attempt at resolving an issue. Yesterday I bought a $[redacted] Steam card from Best Buy in Sunrise, FL. After texting the code to my girlfriend, she said it couldn't be activated or was invalid. I've been unable to reach a live person at Steam for assistance. My experience with their customer service has been frustrating. I am seeking either a resolution or a refund for this matter. The redemption code for the card is: NOFN9-MMIR9-P55CA. My name is Dennis Bartlett, and you can reach me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] I truly hope to speak with a real person soon.

I bought the Valve Index package for $[redacted] with the new Half-Life game for my son. During checkout, I couldn't select the option to purchase it as a gift, which was frustrating due to time constraints around the holidays. I reached out to customer support, and after waiting for 4 days, I received a generic response that didn't address my issue. I followed up with a second request, but it seems to have been overlooked. I'm eager to resolve this matter and get details on the shipping status of my order since I haven't received any updates.

This is my fourth attempt to request a refund. All responses so far claim I have played for over two hours, which is incorrect. I haven't been able to play the game at all. Every time I try to enter, I receive an error message with only options to retry or click "Safe Mode," both leading back to the same error. I bought this less than 24 hours ago and haven't had a chance to play even for a second. The responses have seemed automated. I would like a refund, and I can provide screenshots and videos as proof.

I believe my account has been compromised, leading to my items being traded to a bot without my consent. The bot currently holds my belongings, and I am requesting that necessary action be taken, including banning the bot and returning all items to their rightful owners, as I am unable to repurchase the lost items. There are others experiencing the same problem, indicating a serious issue that needs immediate resolution to prevent further scams by the bot.

After my birthday on April 9, [redacted], my account was hijacked since I didn't have my phone to recover it. I had to wait for my parents to assist. On April 27, a user named "稀麓糊馟筱嘉" traded my Axia of Metira, worth $[redacted], from my inventory on the Steam market. Recently, I discovered that Steam can duplicate stolen items for victims of account hijacking and theft. I am requesting this assistance now.

When attempting to send a digital gift to my son, I encountered an issue. I was instructed to create an account and add funds. Subsequently, after adding the funds, I faced difficulty transferring the funds to his account as intended. I do not wish to keep $[redacted] in my account. I seek either a refund to my Steam wallet or a direct transfer to his account. I am unwilling to make another $[redacted] payment for a gift card. The process for sending gift cards appears misleading and inconvenient as it initially suggests gifting directly from Steam but requires an additional payment to complete the transfer.

Dear Steam Support, I recently purchased Planet Zoo for my son, Caelan, who is turning 12. He has autism and an intellectual disability. Despite his best efforts with our assistance, he found the game too challenging after five hours of play. We were unaware of the two-hour refund policy. We kindly request a refund as a gesture of goodwill, given our history as loyal Steam users, even though we do not meet the standard refund criteria. Could you please consider refunding the purchase so Caelan can try a different game for his birthday? If you are unable to assist, I would appreciate it if you could escalate this matter to a higher authority. Steam Account: Stu5432 Ticket Number: HT-Q4WD-343C-WFPQ Thank you for recognizing that individuals with disabilities may not always fit standard guidelines. Sincerely, Nerissa and Stuart Hann On Behalf of Caelan Hann, 12

I purchased Elder Scrolls Online last night, and let it install and update while playing Civ 6. After a couple of hours, I launched the game, created my character, and played for around 5 minutes. I realized it wasn't for me. Even though I only played for about 30 minutes max, Steam shows 4 hours of gameplay. I tried to request a refund three times through Steam but was denied because of the 4 hours displayed. I'm hoping to get a refund so I can purchase a different game.

My account was stolen. I haven't made any purchases in the last year and that's all that PayPal is showing. The original email addresses linked to the account are [redacted] and [redacted] My Google account also indicates that the account was stolen (see picture), but I am unable to reset my password this way. I cannot log in through that method or using my phone linked to the account with the number [redacted]. I am unsure if the game in my Steam library is related, but I have found my old Counter-Strike: Source disc with the CD key, which I have included in the files. I'm not sure how else to provide proof. Please help me regain access to my account.

Dear Steam Support, I downloaded Steam without any issues, but today when I played CSGO and then closed it to organize, I changed the Steam secondary downloading folder's name. After that, CSGO and Steam won't open. I can't play other games without Steam. I tried reinstalling, but it didn't help. Please provide a fix for this. Thank you.

Hello, I have recently been trade banned, but I am confident that it was unjust. My lawyer and I disagree with the ban reason provided, "commercial purposes" and user reports, as they are inaccurate. I suspect the reports were fake or spam, as I have only used my account for trading and playing games. I have accumulated over [redacted] hours of gameplay over the years. I kindly request not to close this ticket without further investigation, unlike what happened with steam support. Please ask for more details, and I believe we can resolve this matter. You can verify my identity under the full name Pontus Persson. My profile link: [redacted] Best regards, Pontus Persson

I recently got a notification in my account stating that it was banned and suggested I trade items with a friend to prevent losing my valuables. I traded all my items with a friend, but when I sent the offer, my friend didn't receive anything. The items disappeared from my inventory, and the offer wasn't received on their end. I have screenshots from both my account showing the offer and my friend's account where nothing was received. I believe I was scammed, but I'm not sure how. Could someone help me recover my lost items? My Steam account username is km395.

Hello, I recently purchased a new laptop and have been attempting to download Steam without success. After clicking "Finish" to download, a pop-up with a red cross appears after 10 seconds stating, "Failed to download Steam." I'm quite frustrated and eager to get Steam running on my new laptop. I've already created an account and profile, but installation is proving difficult. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you.

Hello everyone, I tried to access the community market on my phone instead of turning on my computer late at night to purchase CS:GO skins. Unfortunately, I received a 7-day ban for using the browser instead of the app. I can provide proof that it's my account; can the ban be removed? It's frustrating as I had just served a 7-day ban for inactivity, and I really don't want to wait another week just to buy some skins. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I was messaged on Steam by someone offering a "free knife" if I followed their rules, but I recognized it as a scam and unfriended them. They then sent me a message with lines of code containing my email and name, and altered my profile details, claiming my account violated Steam's terms and would result in a VAC ban in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. I'm seeking assistance to prevent any unjust bans. I hope to have their IP permanently banned from Steam for engaging in scams, harassment, and other fraudulent activities.

It's been about a week since my account was hacked. Despite speaking to various Steam support staff, they all advised me to enhance my account security. Unfortunately, they didn't assist in recovering my CSGO skins worth over $[redacted], money I earned myself. The incident occurred right after setting up steam mobile authentication. Each staff member claimed I should have been more cautious and had a better-protected account. I already took many security measures and felt helpless. Sadly, they offered no solution. I've invested heavily in this game, so having someone take my money and blame me for the situation is unfair. I can identify the account with my items, see them in the inventory, and know my account was accessed illegally. I am desperate to find a solution to retrieve my items, as losing $[redacted] would greatly impact me financially right now.

I am having trouble logging into my Steam account on my PC to play games. Despite changing my password and confirming it through the Steam phone app, I still cannot access my account on the computer. I successfully log in on Google Chrome, leading me to believe it's a PC-specific issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Steam program, but the problem persists. I am unsure of what steps to take next.

I purchased The Elder Scrolls Online one-month Plus membership and the starter pack. Everything arrived except for the 3,[redacted] crowns. It has been five days, and I am still missing them. I've contacted both Steam and the company, but each says the other is responsible. It's frustrating to be stuck in this back-and-forth situation. I simply want to receive my missing crowns. Can anyone assist me with this issue? I appreciate any help in resolving this matter.
