I need help with my account on Steam. It was falsely reported for having a duped item which I never had. I was directed to BunnySniperMcMuffin to resolve the issue. He asked for my login and email, then removed my authenticator and phone number from my account. After changing my password, I discovered he was attempting to scam my friends. Upon logging back in, he self-locked my account and banned me from the community. I had to create a new profile, but my original account held sentimental value and my friends miss me. I believe I am innocent and seek assistance in having my account unblocked and unbanned. BunnySniperMcMuffin, an alleged admin, has been misusing his authority, even sending me threatening messages. Any help in rectifying this would be greatly appreciated.

I believe I have experienced a trading error or possibly hacking. I was trying to send items to a friend when the trade appeared to be canceled on my end. Strangely, a different person received my items, someone I don't know, and their inventory shows items that I recognize as mine. I've checked their Steam profile, but there's no option to send a trade offer as they're not on my friend's list. I'm concerned because these items have value to me, especially since they were obtained through in-game keys. The person who received my items seems to have acquired more items rapidly, which makes me suspect they may have hacked others. I hope this issue can be addressed for the sake of the community and the company. Thank you for your help.

I have concerns about the moderation in Eve Online regarding biased behavior from the volunteer staff ISDs. I am worried because mentions of being stalked by players were removed by forum moderators. Such behavior by ISD volunteers like CCP Falcon, ISD Buldath, and ISD Bastarlode has tainted my experience in the game. I raised valid concerns that were ignored. Accusations and responses from these individuals were unacceptable. The handling of the situation, with claims of harassment and muting, hindered my ability to address the issue of stalking. It is troubling that forum moderators are also playing characters, leading to potential biases and misuse of power. This situation has made me hesitant to continue playing Eve Online. I believe there should be an investigation into the activities of these individuals to prevent doxing and stalking. The actions of CCP Falcon, ISD Buldath, and ISD Bastarlode need to be reviewed for the safety and well-being of players in the community.

Recently, a friend alerted me to a strange occurrence with my Steam account as it suddenly went private. I attempted to log in on my phone but received an error about an incorrect password. Upon selecting "forgot password," I noticed a new email address with a .ru domain (Russian). This was unfamiliar to me, and there was no notification about an email change sent to my original address. I tried accessing my account through my saved PayPal information used for game purchases but encountered an error saying "couldn't verify through PayPal." I am now uncertain about my next steps and find the advice from Steam support to reset my email password somewhat ironic given the circumstances.

Hello, when I logged in today, I noticed that a game ban had been placed on my account. After reviewing the details, it appears the ban was related to sharing a phone number. I'm unsure if this occurred because I added a phone number already in use or if it was associated with a previously banned account. Initially, adding the number ([redacted]) seemed fine, with no errors or warnings from Steam. The only issue arose when I sometimes experienced delays in receiving authentication codes, leading to inconvenience. Despite removing and re-adding the number shown in the attached screenshots, the problem persisted. Consequently, on June 14, I decided to remove mobile authentication entirely due to its inefficiency, relying solely on email authentication. This resulted in a 15-day cooldown period for accessing the Steam market. Following the email confirmation that the number had been successfully removed, I believed the issue was resolved, assuming the number was no longer linked to my account. If the number was inadvertently connected to another account, I accept responsibility. However, as it did not initially pose any problems and was subsequently removed with confirmation, I believed it was resolved. I rely on my account, having invested significant time and resources, and did not deliberately engage in any actions to warrant a ban. I kindly request a review of the ban.

I accidentally leaked my Steam Guard and got kicked out of my Steam account. The person who got access changed my email and phone number. However, my Ubisoft account, HungaryMuffin, is still linked to it. I have evidence of the person admitting to taking my account by messaging my brothers. I need help recovering my Steam account as soon as I have some free time today.

I am having trouble launching Rome: Total War through Steam. Clicking the icon doesn't open the game, and it gives me a message saying it's already running when I try again. Despite restarting multiple times, the game remains inaccessible. As a disabled vet, playing Rome: Total War is important to me. I have invested a significant amount of time playing it on Steam. Any assistance to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jay.

I am seeking assistance with obtaining a refund for a game I purchased on Steam. According to the refund policy, a refund is possible if the game has been played for two hours or less. In my case, the issue lies in the fact that the game registers time when the main menu is open, which was necessary for downloading maps before I could actually play the game. Once I started playing, I found it to be buggy and not meeting the quality advertised. Despite the game being played for less than 30 minutes, the total time reflects more due to the application being open. I would appreciate a personalized response to this matter.

I bought Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on 6/18/[redacted] and later refunded it that same day on my credit card for safety since I was unsure about the purchase. The next day, I changed my mind after watching more gameplay and decided to repurchase the game. Unfortunately, Steam had already processed the refund, so I couldn't cancel it. I ended up being charged twice for the game as I never received the original refund. Bloodstained was purchased on sale for $35.00, resulting in a total loss of $70.00 due to the double billing. I understand the confusion was on my end and I apologize for the trouble, but I am concerned about the lack of communication regarding the return of my money. Thank you.

I recently purchased Rust, an exciting adventure and action game, on June 23, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I encountered some technical difficulties while playing. The game kept crashing whenever I accessed the inventory or interacted with elements like adding wood to the campfire. These crashes were severe enough to cause my PC to also crash, requiring a restart to resolve the issue. Despite having a decent PC setup with an i7-9700k and GTX [redacted], the game performance was still problematic. I spent more than 5 hours attempting to troubleshoot the problem, resulting in only 3 hours and 30 minutes of actual gameplay time on Rust. I reached out to Steam for a refund due to these issues, but they declined citing that I had played over 2 hours. I am requesting a full refund to my Steam wallet. My Steam ID is: Sr_xq.

I believe my account has been compromised, and I am unable to recover it. I do not have any activation keys, wallet codes, bank transfers, or credit cards linked to the account, as I solely used Steam money cards that were discarded. I discovered the issue when attempting to log in after some time, but despite entering the correct password, I received an error message stating it was invalid. Creating a new account, I realized my old account contains games I never purchased or played. I have access to the email associated with the account but have not received responses from customer support, who requested proof of ownership which I lack, aside from the email. I am distressed about losing access to my games and progress due to someone hacking into my account. I am unsure how to proceed and am eager to restore my account to its previous state.

My account was compromised due to a fake scam from a friend whose account was already hacked. I urgently need to regain access to my account. Steam informed me that the login attempt originated from a computer in Russia with the IP address [redacted].[redacted].72.62. The email also mentioned the importance of the Steam Guard code for account security. I had disabled Steam Guard recently while troubleshooting another issue. I appreciate any help to recover my account.

I recently got banned from CSGO by Overwatch without cheating. I reached out to Steam Support to request details about my ban, not to appeal it, but I kept receiving the same automated responses. Frustratingly, I've been barred from using Steam Support for a month due to submitting duplicate requests. I had to do so because I never received the information I was seeking. I mentioned the GDPR regulations that require sharing certain information. Specifically, I requested the game replay that led to the ban and the IP address from where the game was played. These requests are within GDPR guidelines and essential for proving my innocence or potential account compromise. Despite my efforts, including emailing Gabe Newell, I'm getting no response. I'm at my wit's end and hoping for a solution.

I am requesting a refund for the Cooking Simulator game. I purchased the game a week ago and experienced multiple issues when trying to play it. After downloading, there was a delay of about 20 minutes before reaching the main menu. When I selected the sandbox mode, the game froze, the music glitched, and then it crashed. Upon restarting, the game returned to the main menu after 30 minutes of inactivity. Clicking on settings did not improve performance despite my attempts. Although I played for a total of 3 hours (beyond the usual refund timeframe), no actual gameplay occurred due to these technical problems. I understand the limitations and appreciate your assistance in processing the refund. My Steam username is upgradedude900, and I kindly request the refund to be issued to my PayPal account associated with the account.

I recently received a message from someone offering a free skin in exchange for participating in their YouTube video. After accepting the offer, I was instructed to trade my CS:GO skins to an offline friend. Following the trade, my friend and I both discovered that neither of us had the skins. The trade history indicates that the friend declined the trade, even though I allegedly accepted it. Upon investigating the account involved, it appears to be a level 0 copy of the owner's account with my skins and other unfamiliar items. I suspect I may have fallen victim to a scam where the scammer exploited a glitch to steal my skins. I have invested a considerable amount of money into these skins and am devastated by the loss. The person responsible goes by the name Donald (YouTube 87k), and while I am unsure if this was intentional, I am leaning towards it being a scam. Any help or guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated as I feel helpless and frustrated. If you are able to assist, please reach out to me via email to further discuss my situation.

Yesterday, on the 25th of June, I bought the Shadowbringers Expansion pre-order via Steam. Despite an easy purchase process, when I tried to redeem the CD-Key on Square Enix's Mogstation to activate my early access code and in-game items, I received an error stating that the code had already been used. Online guides suggest manual intervention is necessary to fix this issue. Can this problem be resolved promptly? I can supply a screenshot as proof that the code has been used but doesn't reflect in my account.

I am having trouble accessing my Steam account. It appears that my email address and password have been changed without my consent, leading to the account being deleted or replaced. I am disappointed with the customer service I have received so far. It seems like once you have received payment, you do not take further responsibility. I will not recommend Steam to others due to this experience of having my account compromised and your lack of care. I have been unable to connect with a human for assistance, and I hope this message reaches someone who can provide a genuine response, rather than a standard reply. A more personal email or, better yet, a phone call would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently installed Steam for the first time and selected a local download location. However, when I tried to open it from the folder, it didn't work. I then moved it to the desktop, which initiated a download process filling my desktop with folders. After it finished, the program didn't work, so I tried to uninstall it from the original folder. Although the folder disappeared, the desktop icon remained, along with all the downloaded folders. I cannot find the app in the control panel or a Steam folder in C:/Program Files (x86). How can I remove these downloaded files and prepare for a fresh installation of Steam?

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my Steam account under the username "oelna81". I had made several game purchases yesterday without any issues. I utilize a password manager, ensuring accuracy in entering my password. However, I am consistently met with an error message stating "An error occurred while searching for an associated account." I have attempted to resolve the issue through the support pages, but I am unable to reset my password as my account is not recognized. Additionally, accessing other support pages requires signing into my account, which I am currently unable to do. Any assistance in examining the status of my account would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I'm reaching out for assistance regarding my Steam account, TheGamingASIAN5, which has been compromised. On June 26, [redacted], I accepted a friend request from someone who directed me to a website, gamexspin.com. The site prompted me to log in via Steam to reveal a CD-Key for a game. Despite appearing secure, the website was malicious and obtained my login details. Consequently, my account was hijacked, banned, and wiped. I'm unable to change my password and receive an error message stating I've exceeded recovery attempts when I try to log in. I am seeking urgent help from the Steam team to recover my account or provide guidance on resolving this issue. I appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thank you.
