Hi, I already attempted to get a refund on cities:skylines but steam told me that I exceeded the * hour playtime. I explain further because based off of my experience, I wasn't able to play the game at all. Maybe I should be a little more descriptive so you are able to understand the situation. I purchased this game on my **** mac. After downloading the game onto my laptop successfully, I tried launching the game. Every time I attempted, it wouldn't finish launching and I would be stuck in the progress screen but never loaded into the game. I tried did research to figure out how I could fix this problem, I deleted multiple files, I removed shadows and almost every option to the lowest so the game could load. After attempting to load this game every time, I noticed that my gameplay would increase. I waited for an hour in the loading screen several times, just hoping it would load to the game eventually but it never did. The music on the load screen did change to what sounded like ingame music though, which I thought was odd. If you're able to, please check my games, I did not create one city because I was never able to play. After attempting this for * days and getting frustrated, I stumbled upon the reason for this issue online. It turns out that the macbook pro changed its graphics card between its **** and **** models and the old graphics card that my laptop has does not support this game. I do wish I was told this prior to purchasing this game. So as you can see, the * hours of playtime that steam claims I had, was just the game getting stuck on the loading screen and never fully allowing entry into the map. This experience is causing some distress and I'm starting to feel betrayed because the only reason I purchased this game, was because I looked up prior that steam has a refund policy. I wanted to exhaust all means before asking for a refund though.
