I accidentally left Wreckfest running on my computer while I was at college for classes. My account is articthunder21X, and my game time shows 26 hours even though I haven't played that much. The game is glitchy and not enjoyable for me. I would appreciate a refund from Steam so I can buy a different game.

I would like to request a refund for the game "Squad." It is a multiplayer game known for its long matches. During a recent free weekend, I downloaded it and experienced significant issues such as long loading times for the main menu and servers. After purchasing the game post-free weekend, I encountered problems with the anti-cheat service, rendering multiplayer mode unplayable. Despite my attempts to fix it, the anti-cheat continued to malfunction, causing me to wait through extensive loading times repeatedly. I have been unable to play on a server since the initial issue. Additionally, the game not only crashes to the desktop but also crashes the entire computer. I believe a refund is a fair request. Thank you for your attention, Support Team. If a Steam Customer Support representative reads this, I am willing to provide my account details to address the matter.

I recently moved to Virginia and I'm having trouble playing pub g due to poor internet connection. I remembered I had a counter strike account and tried recovering some old accounts, but only found pub g accounts. While going through my current account's friends list, I found hendricksjimmy330, the account I believe has counter strike. However, I can't recall the email or password for it. I've tried a few options with no success. Please assist me in finding the account details so I can enjoy playing again. Thank you for your help!

I recently purchased GTA V at the urging of my sibling, who really wanted to play together. Despite playing for about four hours, I found the game to be disappointing. I learned that I couldn't get a refund after playing more than two hours within fourteen days of purchase. I requested a refund within two days, but it was denied, likely due to the four hours of playtime. Considering the game takes around twenty-five to thirty hours to complete, plus side quests, I find the two-hour limit unreasonable for this game specifically. Unfortunately, my refund request was rejected, and now I'm stuck with a game I regret buying. I hope they reconsider my refund or provide a clear reason for the denial.

Hello, I recently purchased "Pillars of Eternity" and spent 3 hours in-game, mostly trying to get it to run correctly. I requested a refund to my Steam Wallet twice to use the funds within your service. However, my requests were denied twice because my playtime exceeded 2 hours. This seems unfair as I was only trying to make the game work smoothly on my PC, which exceeds the requirements. This experience has left me disappointed, considering I have been a Steam customer with two accounts for many years. It has made me question whether I want to continue using your service if customer satisfaction is not a priority. I hope for a better resolution to this situation.

I want to report a scam involving trade items with a friend, Sir Purr, on Steam. He advised me to friend someone named Dr. McKay who supposedly cleans items to proceed with the trade. I was coerced into following through with the trade despite my reservations to avoid a ban. Eventually, I was asked to share personal information and even purchase MannCo. keys, which I declined. Subsequently, my email and Steam account were compromised, and I am now seeking resolution.

Hello, I'm experiencing difficulty accessing my account. My account name is [redacted] (or possibly zacspostbox). I no longer have access to the email. The 'verification' email address ([redacted]) was provided through work and I've changed jobs since. I've been struggling to resolve this issue as I keep getting redirected to pages requiring login or encountering chatbots that don't recognize my situation. This is currently my only available email address. My Steam account holds significant value to me, and I'm frustrated by the obstacles in gaining access to my purchases. The customer service I've received has been unsatisfactory! I would appreciate a prompt resolution. Zach S. Manufacturing Technician CMR Surgical Crom Lea Ext: [redacted] Email: [redacted]

After upgrading my PC for gaming, I forgot the username and email to sign into my streaming account. I can verify my ownership with PayPal purchase history but need access to my games and friends. The email I usually use isn't linked to the account. The accounts associated with the old email have no friends or activity. I can view my profile, friends, and public name on my Warframe account, but I can't access the private information like email or hidden name.

My son recently purchased the game "Rust" on Steam, but he's experiencing significant performance issues with it. Despite waiting over two hours for the game to load at times, he's been unable to play properly. He attempted to request a refund twice within a week of purchase but was denied due to playing for more than 2 hours. However, the extended load times make it impossible for him to enjoy the game. I am reaching out to understand why a refund is being denied when the game's poor performance renders it unplayable, which would warrant a refund in a physical store. We request a full refund for this purchase. - Username: ilikeanime11

I recently bought Jurassic World Evolution and encountered crashing issues after playing for a few hours. I sought support from Steam then was directed to Frontier. The Frontier support session had me restart the game multiple times over 2-3 weeks, only to discover a compatibility issue with processors containing 10 cores or more. Unfortunately, Frontier had no solution but advised me to seek a refund from Steam. I attempted to get a refund but was denied due to the extensive testing required by Frontier, totaling 47 hours. I suggested a warning be added to the game regarding this incompatibility. I kindly request a refund for the purchase since the game is incompatible and the testing was time-consuming as per Frontier's instructions. If the game gets fixed, I am open to repurchasing, although Frontier has not provided a timeline for the resolution. Thank you. - Jozsef R.

I would like to file a complaint against the moderator on the Civ 6 Forum. I've been warned twice for minor reasons that don't make any sense. There are some very rude trolls on Steam who upset people, causing stress, and in some cases, depression and even suicide. They never seem to get banned and continue their behavior. I am being harassed by a moderator for expressing my preference to pay for software rather than pirate it because I feel a company is overcharging. It's becoming difficult, and I understand why some people resort to pirating. I eventually told them to just ban me because I have more important responsibilities as a full-time carer. There are some really offensive comments that have not been addressed. I believe the moderators should focus on more important issues.

A friend from my friend list warned me about a pending ban on my Steam account due to a Vac ban on CS:GO. They directed me to a person who claimed to help stop the account deletion by Steam. I shared my account details and was asked for $35 worth of keys and a $20 Steam wallet code. The person pressured me to act quickly, threatening my account would be deleted within 5 minutes. When I discovered someone else using my account, the person claimed a Steam admin had sold it and demanded 12 keys for its return. They assured me that all the money spent would be refunded by Steam. After giving the $20 Steam code, they pretended it was already used.

Hello, my majestic account seems to have been stolen by a Romanian email user. The password and telephone number associated with it have been changed, making it impossible for me to access it. I had purchased Skyrim, EuroTruck Simulator, and American Truck Simulator, along with all the DLCs and expansions. I only discovered this today when I received an alert email about my telephone number being canceled and an SMS notifying me that the reference email had been changed. To restore my account and the games, I need assistance. I typically used PayPal for my payments, and I'm willing to provide that information securely if required, along with the serial numbers of the purchased games. Thank you for your help and attention. Sincerely.

I have been dealing with an issue for quite some time now, approximately a year or two. I keep receiving emails from Steam providing me with a guard code. This indicates that someone is attempting to access my account using my username and password, although they cannot get in due to my secure email. I have taken various measures such as scanning my system with different tools, changing my password multiple times from different devices, including my recent brand new PC. However, the hacker persists in attempting to log in around an hour later each time. Despite my knowledge about computers and software, I am baffled as to how this person is gaining repeated access. My Steam account username is Overzize92 and the associated email is [redacted]

I logged into my account at 6:05 am Australian time, everything was normal until I visited a site in a giveaway group to earn a unique currency for buying game skins on Steam. After logging in, I got an email confirming my email for Steam had been changed. I've attempted to reset my password but couldn't due to the email change. I have purchase records dating back to [redacted] which I can provide as proof if needed. The new email linked to my account is E**********@M***.R. My account is currently locked, and Steam support hasn't been helpful as I can't log in. I'm seeking your assistance to resolve this issue. If possible, it would be great if you could liaise with Steam directly to recover my email and help me get back to playing my games. Thank you.

Hello, I'm a new Steam user and have been enjoying my experience so far. However, I've encountered an issue. Over the past few days, I made multiple game purchases, focusing on ones with full controller support for my Nvidia Shield TV. Despite this, a few games did not function properly on my system, prompting me to request refunds for those titles. I've received what I perceive as threatening messages from your support team, accusing me of abusing the refund policy. This was not my intention. I would appreciate guidance on how to filter games that are compatible with the Nvidia Shield TV to prevent downloading incompatible games in the future. I find it unfair to be told that my future refund requests may not be honored, especially since I only requested refunds for a small portion of my purchases. I hope for a positive resolution as I wish to continue using your service. I am disappointed by the lack of online chat support and would appreciate directions on how to address this matter if this platform is not the appropriate channel. Thank you.

I purchased Rust on Steam but unfortunately, my PC cannot handle the game's demands, making it unplayable for me. I attempted to request a refund, but the system shows I have over 2 hours of playtime. This is due to the extremely long loading times taking up much of the game time. It takes around 45 minutes to an hour just to load the game on my PC. I spent most of that time adjusting settings to optimize performance, accumulating 21 hours. I only played for about 1 hour to test the lag, which was unbearable. Now it appears that I have 22 hours of playtime, although most of it was spent on loading and adjusting settings due to the lengthy reboot process required for changes. I kindly ask for my refund request to be considered.

This morning, I woke up to find some concerning emails in my Steam account on my phone. The emails stated that my email had been changed, steam mobile authenticator removed, and my number removed. When I followed the instructions in the email to use the recovery link, it didn't work. I suspect my Credit Card information might still be stored there, so I am eager to regain access to my account. I believe this issue arose because of my visits to different skin websites for CS: GO. While most were safe, one site called depskins.com scammed me by taking my skins and $60. I suspect this unauthorized activity is linked to a computer located at [redacted].[redacted].60.[redacted] (NL). I urgently need assistance in retrieving my account, particularly my credit card details. I can be reached at [redacted] I have games like CS: GO, Rocket League, and Black Squad in my library. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Amaan.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to inquire about the refund process for Dynasty Warriors 9. I acknowledge that it has been some time since the game was purchased, and that I have played over 2 hours. However, I sincerely request a refund for the following reasons: 1. Upon initial purchase, the game experienced frequent crashes, prompting me to uninstall it in hopes of future bug fixes that were not realized. 2. Initially played on a MacBook Pro, I encountered unstable fps, which I attributed to insufficient graphics capability. Upgrading to an Alienware Area 51 with GTX [redacted] did not resolve the issue, as the fps remains inconsistent with frequent crashes. 3. Despite an 8-hour playtime, I often idled in-game, significantly reducing my actual playtime to likely less than 2 hours. While aware of the purchase duration, I extended this time to allow for game enhancements and better hardware, neither of which improved the gameplay experience. I kindly request a refund for the game and its season pass due to its unplayable nature. Thank you for considering my request. Yours faithfully, Ryan

About [redacted] days ago, I unexpectedly received a VAC Ban while playing "Unturned" on a server run by a friend. Despite trying to troubleshoot and even creating a new account, the issue persisted. I contacted the game developer multiple times over the past year but have not received any responses regarding the ban. This ban has not only affected my gameplay on "Unturned" but has also led to a ban on another game's server due to linked accounts. I have invested [redacted].7 hours and made in-game purchases on "Unturned," and I am seeking clarification and resolution from the game developer regarding the ban.
