I am reaching out to address a concerning issue with my recent purchase of a bundle package. After receiving a notification from the FCC regarding the legality of the version I had initially purchased, I promptly purchased a new package. However, I am now being informed that my key code is already active and that a notice was sent to the owner. To resolve this matter, please provide me with an email address where I can send you the receipt for my product key. I am deeply concerned about the potential fraudulent activities and customer harassment that may be occurring. I have taken the necessary steps to report this to the FCC and the Better Business Bureau. I kindly request a prompt response to avoid any further action. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

After playing for several hours in offline mode, I encountered a "Steam - Cloud Sync conflict" issue when I tried to sync my files after reconnecting to the internet. Despite following recommended troubleshooting steps like checking integrity and cache files, the problem persisted. To test the sync, I disconnected the Ethernet cable, moved the game files, and was able to play without saves. I attempted to resolve the conflict by playing offline to create a new save. Upon reconnecting and selecting "Download to this machine," the original corrupted files resurfaced, causing the game to crash. It seems the issue lies with the server side, as my client works fine. Is there a way for Valve to restore an older save from the cloud? Losing over [redacted] hours of progress is not an ideal situation.

Hello. I need assistance with a problem. Yesterday, I bought multiple cards for a friend, but when they attempted to use them, the cards appeared to be empty. I am now out $[redacted]. I possess my receipts, the card I used for the purchase, and all the physical cards. I am unsure how the numbers or pin codes were compromised. Could you possibly identify who redeemed the cards and cancel the funds, as I do not have a steam account to recover the money? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I bought a Steam account from someone named jhixter, and they gave me the email associated with it. After changing the password and using the account, it suddenly logged me out. I can't sign back in with any of the passwords, even the initial one provided by the seller. The email linked to the account has also been changed, so I can't use the forgot password feature. I'm in a difficult situation and need urgent assistance. Thank you.

I am requesting a refund for the PUBG game I purchased. I played the game for a total of 4 hours, exceeding Steam's 2-hour refund policy. However, the actual gameplay time is less than an hour if I exclude waiting time for a friend. I hope you can make an exception as I did not enjoy the game and would appreciate a refund. Your assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My Steam account was hacked after visiting a site sent by someone claiming to offer an item. When I logged in and used the Steam Guard Authenticator, my Gmail informed me that the account had been successfully transferred. I contacted Steam support to regain access, providing proof of ownership with a Steam Wallet code, but encountered issues submitting a support ticket. I am unable to log in to my Steam account due to the hacking incident. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I encountered an issue while trying to make an in-game purchase on Warframe. When prompted to log in on Steam through my browser, I found it peculiar that I wasn't directed to the Steam application instead. After mistakenly entering the Steam Guard pass-code received via email, I suspect I may have made an error with a character. Despite several login attempts with the captcha, I fear my PC may be IP-blocked due to continuous login tries. I'm hesitant to log out of the Steam app and reset my password as I'm worried about being unable to log in at all. This process has been ongoing for three days now, and I keep receiving the message that there have been too many login attempts on my network. Despite being certain of my password, I seem to be stuck. I've attempted different browsers and clearing cookies, but it seems like an issue related to my IP address. Unfortunately, I'm at a loss for what to do next.

I purchased the Rainbow 6 Siege starter edition to try it out. Now that I enjoy the game, I want to buy the full version. However, I am unable to do so because I still own the starter edition. The only way to remove the starter edition is by getting a refund. I cannot get a refund as I have played 22 hours on the starter edition, which is 2 hours over your policy. I kindly request for an exception to be made in this case to allow me to receive a refund.

Hello, I received a VAC ban a couple of months ago on my account for playing ARK. Despite reading forums claiming VAC bans are permanent, I believe my situation differs due to the game and amount invested. Is there a possibility to appeal or escalate this issue to a higher authority such as a supervisor or corporate contact? I am eager to resume playing online with my friends and would appreciate any assistance in having the ban lifted. My experience with Steam support has been frustrating as responses seem evasive and repetitive, merely citing existing policies available on their forums. I am disheartened by the lack of personalized attention and hope for a more favorable resolution regarding my ban. I remain optimistic that a resolution can be reached in my favor to lift the ban. Thank you.

Hello, I am in a difficult situation and urgently need assistance. 1. Recently, I won a knife from a person named Sparkles who has 2 million YouTube subscribers. 2. Thankfully, I was able to avoid scammers due to my past experiences understanding their tactics. 3. Today, on 11.12.18, I intended to sell my knife to an individual named Commendable Player. We agreed to proceed with the transaction through cs.money as they charge less commission. The reason behind selling my knife is due to my financial struggles in real life where my mom sacrifices everything. I wanted to treat her to something special. After I confirmed the bot trade, everything seemed fine, and I even verified the profile to be legitimate. However, when I tried to finalize the trade, an error occurred, and upon accepting another trade offer, I discovered it was from a fake bot. This unfortunate incident is related to an issue within Steam's trading system. I would deeply appreciate anyone who could help me out. I have faced numerous challenges, such as being bullied at school, financial difficulties, feeling overwhelmed with emotions, and now falling victim to a scam after trying to do something good. I am hopeful for a solution; otherwise, I am unsure if I can continue. Thank you. -Allan

Hello, I wanted to reach out regarding a recent purchase made using my Visa debit card. My name is Ashlea J. Franks, and unfortunately, my card was stolen while I was at work today. The thief took it home and has since been making unauthorized purchases, including online games. I am seeking assistance as they also took my wallet, which contained my ID, cards, and personal items. I am very concerned and feeling quite helpless due to the lack of information available. The transaction details only provide a lead with a receipt from: Steamgames.Com [redacted] Any help in identifying the individual behind these transactions would be greatly appreciated! Sincerely, Ashlea J. Franks

I recently requested a refund for a game purchase but was denied because I played the game for 4 hours, instead of the two hours required for a refund. As a long-time Steam customer, I was disappointed by this policy. I believe the company should value its customers more and support us better. I am unhappy with this experience and would like to discuss it with a representative to address the way customers are being treated.

After investing over [redacted] hours into PUBG and maintaining average stats, I recently encountered an issue where a game client failed to initialize correctly after reinstalling it onto an SSD unbeknownst to me. Following this, my game crashed during the second match, prompting me to verify the integrity of the local files, revealing a file that failed and needed to be reinstalled. To my surprise, upon restarting the game, I discovered I had been VAC banned. I wish to appeal this ban as I have evidence of communication with PUBG Corp., the game developer, demonstrating my innocence against cheating or hacking accusations. I seek Steam's assistance as the platform responsible for implementing VAC bans and hope for a fair resolution, considering my long history as a customer. Ideally, I would like to provide PUBG Corp. access to my download history on Steam to prove that the issue arose from an installation error rather than intentional file modifications.

Recently, someone approached me with a trade offer, claiming to be an affiliate of a major trading platform. They offered me a $20 Steam wallet code in exchange for assisting with a YouTube tutorial. Initially, they requested my Strange Dead Ringer, followed by lower-priced items. However, shortly after initiating the trade, I was unexpectedly logged out of my account. Upon attempting to sign back in, I discovered that the individual had hijacked my account, changed the associated email address and password, and removed my phone number. My last legitimate purchase was a Community Safe 6 for Payday 2 on the Steam market for $0.07. Seeking urgent assistance to prevent further scams through my compromised account.

I mistakenly logged into a website named SKINSXWELL.COM using my Steam account at 1:00 a.m. IST. Upon logging in, my email and mobile number were removed from my Steam account, and the mobile authenticator was disabled. I am concerned that my account might have been compromised. I have reported the incident to Steam through the support process but have not received a response yet. I acknowledge my error in accessing an unsafe site. However, if there is any possibility of recovering my account and its contents, I would appreciate any assistance. Losing my items and progress on the account would be disheartening. I kindly request prompt attention to this matter. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Shashank

Today, I discovered there was a pending ban report accusing me of fraud for duplicating items. I want to clarify that I didn't engage in such activities. I enjoy gaming as a 14-year-old and would never partake in such behavior. My friend brought this to my attention, and I reached out to a Steam admin for assistance. Unfortunately, the admin banned me when I had difficulty purchasing a gift card. I have video evidence disproving the accusation, but the admin wasn't helpful. I feel frustrated as starting a new account means losing all my progress. Despite my anger, I aim to resolve this matter and regain access to my account. I believe I've provided sufficient evidence to support my innocence. I hope this issue can be resolved amicably. Best, Josiah H.

Today, I discovered a pending ban report accusing me of fraud for duplicating items in a game. I want to clarify that I am just a 14-year-old who enjoys playing games. A friend brought this ban report to my attention. I reached out to a Steam admin seeking assistance, but he banned me because I couldn't purchase a gift card. I possess video evidence to support my innocence. I am frustrated as starting a new account would mean losing all my progress. I am considering taking further action to resolve this issue. I demand my account be unbanned and restored promptly. Sincerely, J.H.

Hello, Steam community. I am seeking assistance with a recent unfortunate experience involving a card scam. Despite falling victim to a scam where I purchased Steam cards under false pretenses, I managed to add them to my newly created Steam account before the scammers could use them. I am left with $[redacted] in credits that I am unsure how to utilize as I am not a gamer myself. On November 8, I received a text message supposedly from my new boss, requesting four $[redacted] Steam cards for a friend's birthday gift. Following this request, I shared the card numbers with "John Bernard" at phone number [redacted]. Upon meeting my actual boss on November 12, I realized I had been deceived. I took the initiative to learn more about Steam, opened an account, and successfully activated the cards, which remain unused by the scammers. Although I am aware of Steam's policy regarding non-refundable online purchases, the significant amount at stake prompts me to reach out. I am willing to provide card numbers, purchase receipts, or any supporting evidence to prove my ownership of the cards. I have also involved the local authorities and contacted the store where I purchased the cards, Shoppers Drug Mart. I kindly request any assistance you can offer, and I can be reached at [redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

During a competitive match, I encountered a teammate who was blatantly throwing the game, only managing to get 2 kills. Despite my attempts to kick them, the other teammates did not support me. Instead, they ended up kicking me, resulting in a 7-day ban. I am extremely frustrated as I had just received my PC back from repairs that cost an extra $[redacted] due to the company's mistake. Returning to play CS:GO, I faced this issue and now I'm banned for a week. It's disheartening as I was looking forward to getting back into the game after the PC trouble. I urge the authorities to review the game and see that I was unfairly banned while the real culprit continues to ruin matches. Your assistance in lifting this ban would be greatly appreciated.

I need to get a refund for a DLC I bought today. The code I received from Steam isn't compatible with my game because my in-game account wasn't originally created through Steam. The Steam store's help section won't let me refund it, mentioning "consumable items," even though I cannot use the CD key, making any items within it inaccessible to me. That's why I'm seeking a refund since I am unable to use the product I just bought.
