In this world of businesses closing, you would think that a business such as Steak and Shake would want to keep their customers. We went to the Strak and Shake on Parma,Ohio on Saturday and not only did you not get seated, the people working that day were all looking at each other as much as to say “not my job”. After * minutes of waiting and I am pointing out that it was not busy, we were given a table. ** minutes later after not even being recognized as sitting there we got up and left and gave another restaurant not only our business but our money as well. You have one waiter at that particular restaurant that is excellent and that is Brian. When he is working everyone that comes in, requests his area . I may also point out that he is the ONLY one I have seen check on customers to make sure everything is good and to see if they need anything and these include customers that are not even his. My opinion, he is too good for your restaurant and if I had a restaurant I would definitely hire him, so you may want to make sure he goes no where. This attitude that most of your help has at any of your Steak and Shakes is sad. I sometimes wonder if on the application, you ask how slow and rude they can be, and if they say very, then they are hired. It is really sad and I am in no hurry any longer to go to your establishments and it won’t be long before others feel the same way.**D.Schlegel*Parma, Ohio
