This complaint is regarding the Steak n shake at ***** Fisher Park Dr Louisville, KY *****. Our *st problem was around **pm last night, ********** . We tempted to go through the drive-thru only to find out they were not serving through the drive-thru you could only come in the restaurant to order your food. Since it was New Year's Eve, we decided to wait and go back to the restaurant around **:** a.m. the same night*morning and eat inside. When we arrived there were no cars in the parking lot however all of the lights inside the restaurant were on and a sign posted that said they were open ** hours a day. However the doors were locked even though all the lights were on and it looked open. The last and biggest issue we had was this morning, ******** around **:** am. The restaurant and the drive thru were both open finally and we ordered through the drive-thru. My daughter ordered a number *, double steakburger with cheese with fries and a drink and my husband ordered a number ** a biscuit with egg bacon and cheese with a hash brown and a coke. The guy working the window was extremely rude when taking our order and giving us our food and taking our payment. After we left the drive-thru and got home we noticed my husband's sandwich only had the biscuit egg and cheese but no bacon and the biscuit was so hard you could not eat it, it just crumbled. My daughter's double steakburger with cheese was completely un-edible. It tasted like it had been cooked hours before and had been setting out as well as the fries were the same. They tasted like they had been cooked in very old grease and had a very nasty taste to them. We are about ** minutes from the restaurant so too far to go back and get our food replaced but with so many bad experiences within the last ** hours we felt we should let you all know about it. We eat at Steak and Shake very frequently typically a couple times a week at least but at a different location. We have never once had a problem with our food or with the service our typical Steak and Shake which is on South Hurstbourne pkwy Louisville KY. The only thing we had positive to say about does Steak and Shake on Fisher Park where we had these issues at last night and this morning is the service was extremely fast. But I'm assuming that's because the food was old and already cooked and have been sitting out for hours not to mention they did not bother to even cook the bacon to put on my husband sandwich they just gave him the egg cheese and biscuit. So basically we spent $** on food that we just threw away the soft drinks was the only thing consumed of the food we ordered. We definitely have no plans to ever go to the Steak and Shake on Fisher park again luckily the Steak and Shake on Hurstbourne which is near our house is the one we frequent and we will continue to eat at that location as this is one of my daughter's favorite restaurants. We just felt you should know about the poor service, the awful food as well as the missing food and the issue with them not taking orders through the drive-thru and saying they are open with all the lights on but yet locking the doors which we are assuming had to do with the fact that it was New Year's Eve and it was just after midnight.
