Cancel subscription or disable auto-renew ... I had my website through Squarespace years ago, but when I had someone else create a website for me, we no longer used it. Ever since, Squarespace has continued to automatically renew my account and charge my credit card. I have tried to cancel the subscription and*or disable auto-renew, but the directions they give on the site to do that, don't work. They say to go to Home, then click on Settings and then on Billing and Account - but none of those options exist anywhere. So you're screwed once a year. They just take your money and there's no one you can talk to to fix it!
The directions they give don't work.
I want them to cancel my subscription and stop charging my card for an account I haven't had for many years. It would also be nice to get my money back.

Although Squarespave offers no email address to contact a human, I sent an email to info@, customerservice@, help@, support@, etc, and "support@" ended up being the one that got through. I told them the issue and they responded by giving me the same instructions I'd already gotten, that didn't work. The rep said that if the instructions didn't work, they would be happy to do it for me. I responded that I already know the instructions don't work and to please go ahead and do it for me, which they did. I will look out for the charge to my account, at any rate, to make sure they truly canceled it.
