I am Guy A Guiffre, the Treasurer for Father Jon O'Brien Council [redacted]. I have been pleased with Square's service in the past. However, I am currently experiencing issues regarding a deposit made on November 17, which was short by $[redacted].77 and labeled as "OTHER." I am struggling to obtain information on why this occurred and where the money went. When seeking clarification, I have received unhelpful responses like "Square has the right" and "case closed." Moreover, my call with Corbin from Square Account Services was abruptly ended, and it appears there is no direct contact number for assistance. I am eager to have the full deposit transferred to my bank account, rather than another recipient. I am currently in contact with the customer service team, but they seem hindered by company procedures from providing a resolution. I am reaching out for assistance to resolve this matter promptly.

Dear Square team, I recently received a letter from Square dated November 13, [redacted], stating that there are funds from my past transactions being held, and if not claimed, they will be sent to the state in January. I have been a loyal customer for years, but my account was abruptly closed due to being labeled as "risky," with no room for discussion. Unfortunately, I have been unable to contact anyone at Square as my sign-in credentials are not being recognized. It is essential for me to claim the funds that have been held since [redacted]. Despite numerous attempts to reach out, I have not received any response from Square. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter, possibly by issuing a check. Hello, I received a letter on 11/13/19 stating that I have $.97 in my Square merchant account with no activity since 12/19/16. I may have a remaining payment from a focus group. I'm not very tech-savvy. I need to claim this money before it goes to the State of New York. The letter asks me to link a valid bank account for the funds to be returned. I have been dealing with a person named John H. who insists that the system has overcharged me numerous times, totaling $19,[redacted].27. Due to this, he owes me $12,[redacted].27 since he hasn't billed me for the last 3 months of work. Despite my repeated requests for a refund, John keeps providing various excuses to avoid issuing the refund. One of his explanations was that the funds are "stuck in the square." I am seeking to challenge all the wrongful charges in order to recover the money owed to me.

Since November 25, I have been repeatedly receiving emails claiming I will be charged $[redacted] from my account, followed by a charge of $[redacted] on a card which I cannot verify. Today, I got another email requesting an account update under the threat of closure. I am certain this is a phishing scam and want to report it. I have not and will not provide any information. Please reach out to me promptly.

I noticed 27 unauthorized charges on my bank statement from Nov 27 and Dec 2. The only authorized transaction was for $35 on Nov 27. The charges, totaling $[redacted], appear under cashapp at [redacted]. I've already canceled my card and removed it from the linked account under [redacted] My bank advised me to reach out to you for an immediate refund; otherwise, they will take steps to dispute the charges on their end. Please contact me as soon as possible to provide an update on this matter.

A person reached out to me regarding replacing laminate flooring in a property they own. They were overseas, which is common in my area due to military deployment. They offered to send funds in advance for my services and asked me to pay their plumber since the plumber didn't accept credit cards. I received $[redacted], with $[redacted] for the plumber and $[redacted] for me. However, I encountered issues when trying to pay the plumber due to my local banks being closed. After examining the names involved, I decided to pause the transaction. The individual has not been in touch since November 22nd. I aim to handle things honestly and responsibly. I'm having trouble setting this up. When I attempted a trial charge on my own card, it didn't go through. I use a Straight Talk phone with monthly purchased cards. Do I need to have a card loaded even if I don't use it for calls? How do I connect it to my wifi? I'm not very tech-savvy and feeling frustrated. I purchased socks from Teal Daisy Boutique and paid the invoice through Square. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive my items and have been unsuccessful in communicating with the seller regarding a refund or shipment status. The products were supposed to be shipped on November 18th, but there has been no update since. I am now looking to file a claim to retrieve my funds. The seller's name is Nissa Rachelle on Facebook, and it seems like there might be similar complaints lodged against her.

I can't recall the email I used to log into my Cash App, and I've forgotten the password as well. I changed my Cash Tag from "$150double00swerv" to "$ATBheem" and have about $30 in the account. The recent emails associated with the account were either @[redacted] or @[redacted] I can provide identification, Social Security number, Cash App card with name, security code, and PIN. I've been struggling to access my account for a while. The only email I remember using for that account is "[redacted]" I plead for your assistance.

I signed up for a Square account to process payments for my social media business. After a client payment, Square flagged my deposit for more information. I submitted: - Proof of my LLC status - My EIN - A signed client contract with service costs - Bank statements Square then disabled my account, giving me the option to wait until February for the deposit or refund my client and have them pay by check. I tried to refund the money, but encountered errors stating it was already refunded, although the funds were still in my Square account. Despite contacting Square multiple times for help, I'm stuck with my client's money unavailable to me, and my client hasn't received the refund.

I made a payment for an iPhone 11 through a Square invoice I received, but it turns out the seller has no intention of sending me the phone or refunding me. I've lost $[redacted] in this transaction. Once it clears in my account, I plan to dispute it with my bank. The payment is currently pending, and the amount has been deducted from my available balance. I am extremely upset about this situation and frustrated that scammers can get away with deceiving people like this.

I placed an order for a throw blanket from DOPHILTEES LLC through Square. Initially, there were issues with the payment confirmation; however, I later received an email stating that the payment was successful and that a tracking number would be provided. Despite receiving an email notifying me that the item had been shipped, the tracking number did not work. After contacting the company for the correct tracking number, they claimed they could not locate my order. I have sent multiple emails over the course of the past ten days providing evidence of my purchase, but I have yet to receive a response. I am requesting a refund for my order.

I am experiencing issues logging into the Square site as my password is no longer accepted. Despite trying to reset it, I do not receive any emails, even after checking the spam folders and whitelisting your domains with my ISP. I am unable to reach customer service over the phone as I am directed to the website for a customer number. How should I proceed to resolve this matter?

I am writing to report an issue with a transaction processed by Square Merchant Robert Vargo. On December 7, [redacted], at 3:47 PM, a $[redacted] charge was made on my MasterCard ending in [redacted]. Despite only authorizing $[redacted], Mr. Vargo proceeded with the full amount claiming the need for immediate cash due to bank closures. I had already provided him with a $[redacted] check for the purchase, which he promised to return uncashed. However, Mr. Vargo has not followed through on issuing the refund as promised, and the $[redacted] check has been cashed. As a result, we had to cancel MasterCard [redacted] due to this fraudulent activity. I believe that Robert Vargo poses a security risk to Square and his account should be terminated.

On 11/28/19, a withdrawal of $1,[redacted] was made from my credit card/bank account through a cash app/Square that I did not authorize or have any association with. I am seeking guidance on how to initiate a refund for this transaction and obtain details about the account used to withdraw the funds, as well as the destination of the $1,[redacted]. My bank/credit card company is requesting further information to process my claim regarding this fraudulent activity.

Yesterday, I received a call from an individual claiming to work for Cash App. He informed me of fraudulent activity on my account and requested a code sent to me through Cash App, resulting in $[redacted] being deducted. After waiting on hold for over 20 minutes, the call abruptly ended, and subsequent attempts to reach the number failed. I am seeking a refund for the disputed payment to "$PhoenixDouthat", as evidenced by screenshots provided. This incident prompted me to access Cash App from my work PC, which is uncommon for me. I am requesting assistance to retrieve my funds and take action against the person impersonating Cash App. Thank you for your help.

I am facing difficulty accessing my Square account as I have forgotten both my password and the associated email address. Even though I clicked on "forgot email," I did not receive any recovery email on my current email address. Although my Square app is logged in on my current phone, I am unable to activate my new Square card as it requires a code that I never received. I suspect that Square is sending emails to my old hacked email address, which I cannot access. This is affecting my business, as I am unable to collect payments that should be going to my bank account. Can you please provide me with a code so I can contact Square support over the phone? My business is suffering because of this issue and I need help resolving it urgently.

I have noticed an issue with the receipts for purchases made using different credit cards being sent to my adult daughter, who does not live with me. This privacy breach concerns me greatly. Despite choosing not to receive emailed receipts, my daughter continues to receive them. My email address is the only one associated with these credit cards, making this mix-up confusing.
