My money was stolen from my Cash App account. The money was hard-earned, and someone pretended to be associated with the company through a Google ad to fraudulently withdraw money from my account. Their tactics are dangerous since they even attempted to access my bank account. I reacted quickly by canceling my bank card. Hearing about similar issues with others is concerning. I encountered problems with my pin, received misleading emails about my account balance, and then searched for customer support only to stumble upon fraudulent individuals impersonating Cash App support. I wish there was an in-app option to reclaim funds in such cases of fraud. Can anyone advise on what steps I should take?

My spouse and I established our account last year and created a new email solely for receiving payment information. We utilized our square device for one weekend in December. Subsequently, we tried to access our account and were unable to recall the email address we used. Regrettably, we are unable to contact you by phone as we require the email to receive a code. We simply need to retrieve the email associated with our account, as we are confident in our ability to access the email and our account thereafter. Despite the oversight, we are prepared to provide all necessary information. How can we proceed?

I am having trouble accessing my point of sale system and account despite knowing my password. When I try to log in, I receive an error about the password or email being incorrect. I clicked on the option to reset my password, but I haven't received the email to do so. I am unable to obtain a customer code to talk to a representative. This issue is preventing me from processing sales. My friend believes my complaint about her taking money was publicly visible, rather than just seen by Square. She thinks everyone can see it and I want it removed. How can I go about this? It was one of those late-night rants when you feel unappreciated. She also believes that Square refunded me the $30 she charged me, but I have not received it. I would like to know who received it. I am frustrated with Square's handling of my account. I made a transaction on August 22 using gift cards. While the first deposit of $[redacted] went through minus a fee, the subsequent deposit of $[redacted] was not processed. Square then canceled my account without warning, holding my funds and deducting their fee. Their communication has been lacking, with an email received a day later instead of a prompt explanation. I find it unfair that Square can hold my money for over [redacted] days during an investigation without clear reasons. As a 30-year business owner, I am disappointed in this treatment. Despite reaching out to Square, I have not received a satisfactory response. Their customer service seems inadequate, with long waiting times on the phone. It is concerning that they may be profiting off the interest from holding customers' funds illegally. I request my money be returned, fees deducted, and my account closure finalized.

On the evening of August 30, [redacted], I encountered an issue while processing a $[redacted].00 transaction for my driver. Despite seeking assistance from customer service and following instructions to add $[redacted].00 to the account, the $[redacted].00 has not been refunded to my account. Subsequently, when trying to access my account, I was denied, receiving a message stating that my phone number was not linked to the app. I am unable to open the app or retrieve the funds. It is crucial that I speak with a customer service representative promptly to address this urgent matter and facilitate the return of my funds.

For four days now, I have been attempting to receive assistance either via email or by speaking to a customer service agent. Resetting my password is necessary to access my account, but the reset emails are not coming through. Despite receiving promotional emails from you, the password reset emails are missing. This issue is urgent as I require the information for tax purposes. The situation seems illogical; the random need for a password reset is frustrating, as is the inability to reach a live person. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of response as a paying customer. Please provide a functional customer service number and extension without requiring a customer number input, allowing me to speak with a representative promptly to obtain my last year's tax totals.

On August 25, [redacted], $[redacted] was fraudulently withdrawn from my Cash App account. I reported this to Square immediately but did not hear back despite multiple attempts to contact them. Finally, on September 3, they responded after I reached out on Twitter and through emails. Following the fraudulent withdrawal, I received two deposits from my job, $[redacted] and $[redacted] each. Despite these deposits, Cash App blocked my access to the account. After two weeks of emails and being ignored, they instructed me to sign in and cash out, which I couldn't do as my access was blocked. They are now not responding again, holding almost $[redacted] of my money. I have since opened a new Cash App account, which is functioning well. I have requested repeatedly for them to transfer the funds to my new account, but they continue to ignore my requests. I simply want my money back, especially the untouched funds from my job's deposits that were inaccessible due to their actions following the fraud report.

I was locked out of my account back on September 7th when I was in Boise for a show. Being a crafter, I rely on using Square during weekends. Despite trying to contact support, not being able to log in prevented me from receiving any emails or assistance. I resorted to signing up with a different payment processing company to accept credit cards during a two-week trip. Upon returning home on September 16th, I was startled to learn of alleged fraudulent activity involving a $4,[redacted] charge made through my account. I tried reaching out to the concerned person but couldn't reach her for clarification. I want to clarify that I did not make such a charge, especially not of that amount. Upon reviewing my bank account, I noticed two deposits from Square on September 6th and subsequent debits on September 7th, totaling $9,[redacted].35. I am unsure why this happened and how someone might have gained unauthorized access. I aim to continue using Square but need guidance on the next steps to address this concerning situation.

I have had a website with your company for about 3-4 years now. Unfortunately, my website, www.stephencomleysr.com, has been suspended. Additionally, Squarespace has deducted money from my checking account seven times without authorization. Trying to resolve this on your chat line has been a nightmare as the tech support person keeps leaving before fixing the issue. Do I really need to travel to New York to get my website back online? I have been trying to reach someone for help multiple times and have had no luck. After emailing Square, I was told to explain better how they can fix the problem, but I am already clear about the issue. I made a purchase from a seller on June 19th but never received my merchandise. On August 9th, I requested a refund. Despite waiting for the refund to appear in my account, it never did. The seller claims to have issued the refund, but my bank has no record of it and advised me to contact Square. This has been incredibly challenging as I cannot get through to anyone. I just want my money back. If I continue to face difficulties, I will involve the Better Business Bureau. I simply need to know the status of my refund and verify if it was processed by the seller. Hello! I used your Cash App to send money to a friend who ended up scamming me and blocking me on the platform. When I tried to request a refund, it said the person did not want to make a transaction with me. I contacted my bank, and they suggested reaching out to you directly since the charge is still pending. I am hoping you can refund the payment as I am certain the person will not repay me. As a road service company, we often have to accept credit card payments over the phone. Unfortunately, some customers can dispute charges citing chip card security features. It would be helpful if Square could alert us to potential risks when processing payments. Additionally, having the ability to dispute these chargebacks with evidence such as phone records and receipts would greatly benefit us. While most customers are honest, dealing with fraudulent disputes can be costly, especially when a significant portion of our transactions are processed manually. We pride ourselves on keeping trucks running smoothly, and having safeguards in place to protect against unwarranted chargebacks would greatly benefit businesses like ours.

I am having an issue with Cash App where a transaction seems to have disappeared. After reaching out to customer support, I received multiple automated responses before finally getting a human response. I was instructed to obtain a letter from my bank, which I promptly did and submitted. Now, weeks later, after sending follow-up emails, I am being asked for the same information I already provided. The lack of progress and repeated requests are causing me a great deal of frustration. All I want is for my issue to be resolved, and my money returned.

I have been informed by Gulf Coast Mobile RV Service that they initiated a refund to me for an A/C service that was not completed. The transaction in question took place on June 14, [redacted], and was charged to my Regions Visa credit card, the last 4 digits of which are [redacted], under the name of A. L. Moscarelli. The authorization code provided on the receipt is 06615C. The vendor has been assuring me since June that a refund request was submitted. Their latest claim is that there may have been an error on your end, and they indicated a recent inquiry on 9/26 that is supposedly being processed by you. Before I take further action, I am seeking confirmation of these details. If a refund is not in progress, I am prepared to escalate this matter as a formal dispute and would appreciate guidance on the next steps.
